      This Indenture made this 5th day of October AD 1882 between John W. Marshall and Mary E Marshall his wife of Chase County in the state of Kansas on the first part and Thomas A. Marshall of Boone County in the state of Kentucky of the second part witnesseth that the said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five and 00/100 dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged does by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto said part of the second part his heirs and assigns all the following described real estate situated in the county of Boone and the state of Kentucky to wit John W. Marshall and Mary E. Marshall undivided dowrey interest in the estate of Eveline Marshall containing 38 acres more of less to have and to hold the same together with all and singular the tenement heriditaments and appurtances thereunto belonging or in anywise appurtances and fences and said parties of the first part for their heirs executed or administrates does hereby covenant promise and agree to and with said party of the second part that doth delivery of thes presents they are lawfully seized in their own right of an absolute and indefeesable estate of inheritance in fee simple of and in all singular the above granted and described premises with the appurtenances; that the same are freee clear dischareged and unencummberedd of and are free all former and other grants titles. Charges estate judgements, taxes, assignments and incumbrances of what nature of kind soever and that they will warrant and forever defend the same writs said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against said party of the first part his heirs and all and every person or persons wheresoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same.

      Know all men by these presents that Alonzo Marshall, Alexander Marshall, N.V. Marshall, Anne (Heyler) Marshall, Cynthia Taney, M. Taney, Susan Richards, Lewis Richards, Charles Clark, and Laura B. Clark his wife and Celia Anne Marshall wife of Alexander Marshall for and in consideration of the premises hereunafter mentioned do hereby bargain sell and convey to Thomas A. Marshall this heirs and assign forever the following described real estate to wit Lots No. 7 & 8 of the Dower Tract set apart to Eveline Marshall widow of Sebastian Marshall Dec'd, and lying and being in Boone County Kentucky and particularly described as follows.

      Beginning at a stone a corner of Lots No 6 Conveyed to Laura B. Black Thence North 88-1/2 West 85-3/10 poles to a stone in Tolney Dickersons line thence 82-1/2 West 20-6/10 poles to a stone near a beech and Sugar tree thence with Dickersons line and John Glackin South 88-1/2 East 857-/10 poles to a stone a corner of Lot No 6 in the said Sebastian Marshall's Dower Tract. Thence with a line of lot No 6 North 2-1/2 East 20-6/10 poles to the beginning containing 11 Acres more or less together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging to have and to hold the same to the said Thomas A. Marshall his heirs and assigns forever the grantees their heirs executors and administrator hereby conveying with the grantee his heirs and assigns that the title so conveyed is clear free and unencumbered and that they will warrant and defend the same against all legal claim whatsoever.

      The consideration of this deed is that whereas Cynthia Taney, Susan Richards, Alonzo Marshall, N.V. Marshall, Alexander Marshall, Laura B. Clark, Thomas A. Marshall and John Marshall are the Sole surviving heir of Sebastian Marshall and his wife Eveline Marshall both Decd. and whereas all of said heirs are of age and have mutually agreed to divide said dower among themselves amicably and without interpretation to court according to a division and plat and survey made by William Fennill S.B. on August 23, 1882 and John Marshall having heretofore sold and conveyed his interest to and unto said Dower tract to Thomas A. Marshall as per Recorded deed there fore the grantees aforesaid have sold and conveyed the above described lots No. 7 & 8 to said grantee his heirs and assignees.

      In witness whereof the said Alonzo Marshall, Alexander Marshall, Celia Anne Marshall, N.V. Marshall, Charles Clark, Laura B. Clark, Susan Richards, Lewis Richards, Cynthia Taney, M. Taney and Annie Marshall wife of N.V. Marshall have hereunto act their hand this 2nd day of January 1883.

      $1 received of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company of Kenton County in which I hereby grant unto said company including the necessary poles, wires and fixtures, upon, over and across the property which I own or in which I have any interest in the Precinct of Union, County of Boone and State of Kentucky, and upon and along the roads, streets or highways adjoining the said property with the right to permit the attachment of the wires of any other company and the right to trim any trees along said lines so as to keep the wires cleard of at least eighteen inches to erect and set the necessary guy and brace pooles and anchors and to attach thereto and to trur the necessary guy wires said property being that known as the old Marshall Farm (21) acres, the corner of my title to same being through a deed from Sebastian Marshall to TA Marshall dated 11th day of September 1880, recorded in Deed Book No 32 page 41, of the Boone county records at Burlington Ky. said sum being received in full payment thereof and for all damages caused by the construction and maintaining of the line.       Know all men that Thomas A. Marshall and Mildred E. Marshall his wife both of the county of Boone and state of Kentucky for and in consideration of 450 dollars to them paid by Alonzo A. Marshall of the county and state aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth hereby bargain sell and convey to the said Alonzo A. Marshall his heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate situated in Boone County Ky on the waters of Gunpowder Creek and recorded as follows; one tract of about 83 acres, the formally owned by Sebastian Marshall decd and same upon which he lived and died and the same now owned by the widow and heris of said Sebastian Marshall and the same upon which his widow now resides and another tract of about thirty acres being a portion of the Reuben Lancaster tract and being the same 30 acres upon which the said Thomas A. Marshall now resides. Now all this land belongs to eight children the heirs of the said Sebastian Marshall decd subject to the dower rights of his widow Eveline Marshall and has never been divided. Now the said Thomas A. Marshall and his wife hereby bargain sell and convey to the said Alonzo A. Marshall all of their undivided one eighth (1/8) interest in said tract of land subject to said dower.
