      To grand-dau. Mary Mushet, slaves.
To Elizabeth Dunningham, some slaves, and If she shd. die without issue, then I give sd. slaves -to her mother, Mary Mushet.
To grand-dau. Sarah Fowke, my slave to serve her -ten years, and that the Increase of dd, slaves to be equally divided among the children that Sarah Fowke now has.
To grando-dau. Violater Hanson, some slaves,
To grand-son Robert Hanson, one slave,
If either sd. grandchildren, Violater or Robert, should die before of age or marry, then the survivor should have what is left to them.
To great-grand-dau. Hellose Hanson, one slave,
To great-grandchIldren: Margaret Hanson., Walter Hanson, Hosk:in Hanson, Mary Hanson, Grace Hanson, Catharine Fowke, Roger Fowke and Gerrard Fowke, some slaves.
To Mary Boye, dau, of Elizabeth and Abram Boye, some cattle and etc.
To Anne Miller, formerly called Anne White, some furniture.
To Thomas Hanson, natural born son of Anne White, two years of
      schooling and some cattle*
      Ex: Walter Hanson.
Wit: Sam Jones, Anne Price, Margt, Anders, 31, 283

NOTE: Who the widow was before marriage I do not not know, but she later married Thos. Osburn, died 1726-7. In 1727 or 1728 she lastly married Absalom Thorne, died 1735. She died 1761; her will proved March 25, 1761, Charles County, Maryland. I suspect she was not the mother of Diana, daughter of this testator, who married Price. This testator's daughter, Violetta Harrison (by his widow Elizabeth), married, first, William Hoskins, died 1727, and left two daughters, Eliz. and Mary Hoskins.
Violetta (Harrison) Hoskins later married Col Robert Hanson (who had previously been married) and had issue. Her daughter Eliz. Hoskins married Walter Hanson and had issue, and her daughter Mary Hoskins first married Mr. Jno. Cunninghame and had issue, and later she married Mungo Muschett.
Hence this testator's daughter, Violetta Harrison had children by Col. Robert Hanson and she had grandchildren by Walter Hanson and Eliza. Hoskins, and therefore this testator's widow, Eliz., had grandchildren by Col. Robt. Hanson and she had great grandchildren by Walter Hanson, who was
a nephew of Col. Robert Hanson.-R. T. Semmes.

Eleanor Atkins, born say 1677, was the servant of James Neale on 9 March 1696/7 when she was presented by the Charles County Court for having a "Molattoe" child. She did not appear for her presentment because she was pregnant with a second child which she delivered before 8 March 1697/8. The court ordered that she receive twenty-four lashes [Court Records 1696-1701, 162, 280, 306, 334, 376]. She was probably the mother of Martha, born say 1697, presented by the Charles County Court on 8 November 1726 for having a "Mallatto" child. She confessed to the charge, and the court sold her for seven years and sold her child to Major Robert Hanson until the age of thirty-one [Court Record 1725-7, 409, 494].
