  • Notes
    • === Paradox922@netscape dot net [ this proved not to be correct. the Full will does not reference Fenwick]
Hello, my name is Douglas Dreier, I am a direct descendent of Peter Joy Jr (through John Baptist Joy, John Joy, Alfred Joy, Elizabeth Jane Joy, Hubert W. Leach, Ludwig Henry Leach, Kenneth R. Leach, Suzanne R. Leach, then myself). I was reading through your information on Peter Joy Jr., and I stumbled across a point. You may have already thought of this, but in the will of Peter Joy Jr, it says, "To cousin John Fenwick". If Fenwick is the last name of one of Peter Joy Jr.'s male cousins, then Fenwick must be the last name of Peter's mother's father and, consequently, Peter's mother. Despite this, you and all the other ancestry.com family trees have Peter Joy Jr.'s mother as Martha Goldson. I also noticed that you have no information written down on Martha's parents. This might be because the last name is incorrect. Perhaps, Martha Fenwick would work.

Then again, your sources may be 100% accurate. If it is not too much of a burden, could you please e-mail me with the source of your information?

      Thank you and Good Luck
      Sincerely,
      Douglas Dreier
