      Feb 22, 1731 from Mary Smallwood alias Mary Boydon and James Griffin, her son, both of CC, to Jno Hamill of CC, for 5500 lbs of tobacco and for other good causes, all that tract of land that was originally surveyed for Thos Ashbrook, and sold from him to John Boydon, whose heir, [is] she above mentioned Mary Smallwood, now is known and called by the name of Ashbrook's Rest, lying in CC, and bounded by Jno Ward's land called Ing_othorp, the woods, the land formarly laid out for Jno Dillyhay now in the possession of Rich Hudson {sic Hanson}, containing and laid out for about 150 acres.
