To the vestry of Port Tobacco Parish for the purpose of repairing the churches, the principal of the debt due from the estate of my brother Josias Hawkins within eighteen months after my decease. Also the monies from the sale of a small plantation of 15 acres bequeath me by my brother Josias Hawkins and now occupied by Mrs. Ann Lowe. {The total to the vestry} no more than one hundred pounds currency. It is probably that the monies from the sale of the above land will exceed the debt due from my brothers estate so any surplus to go to my nephew Caleb Hawkins.
