George Culp recorded 10 October 1797, from Gideon Davis of Montgomery County & Amos Davis of Baltimore, for £298..13, deed made 2 September 1797 for Resurvey on Benjamin's Square, and part of Lodewick's Range, adjacent to each other, and adjacent to part conveyed to William Coxen, for 177 acres, to part conveyed by Rezin Davis to Ignatius Pigman, to part of Resurvey laid out for Col. Griffith, of 100 acres, to beginning, containing 111 acres. Signed by Gideon Davis, Amos Davis before Thos Davis, Elemelech Swearingen. Deed acknowledged. Sarah, wife of Gideon released dower.

      436. Clement Thompson recorded deed 12 March 1803 from Eleanor Palmore of Montgomery County, and Amos Davis, her son, of Baltimore County. Whereas Eleanor is entitled to 13 acres of Resurvey on Benjamin's Square by deed from Jeremiah Davis, and 12 ½ acres during her natural lifetime by dower right, to which Amos Davis is heir in fee simple, the 25 ½ acres being bounded by George Culp and by Harry W. Dorsey, on the north by a tract called Addition to Brooke Grove, and on the east by part of Resurvey on Benjamin's Square, conveyed by Elijah Williams and his wife Eleanor, and Rezin Davis to the said Clement Thompson in November 1802. This deed conveys their right to 25 ½ acres for £47..16..3.
