Jany. 27, 1765. Thomas Fox, of St. Geo Par., Spts. Co., to Oliver Towles, Junr., attorney-at-law, of same Par, and Co. In trust. "For the natural love and affection which he hath and beareth to Nathaniel, Thomas, Junr., Wm., and Joseph Fox, and Philadelphia, Ann, and Polly Fox, sons and daughters of the sd. Thomas Fox," etc. All sd. Fox's land in King Wm. Co. being 500 a. on Mattapony; 672 a. in Spts. Co., purchased of George Seaton; also 27 slaves, etc., etc. Witnesses, John Stewart, Francis Tyler, Jno. Battaley, Wm. Reid. March 5, 1765.
