Hutt to Hutt Indenture
This indenture made the sixth day of February 1796 between Nimrod Hutt, William Spence Hutt, and Constance U. E. Hutt his wife of the County of Berkeley of the one part and Gerard Hutt of the County of Westmoreland of the other part. Witnesseth that Nimrod Hutt, William Spence Hutt, and Constance U. E. Hutt his wife in consideration of the sum of 100 pounds current money of Virginia in hand has sold to Gerard Hutt one tract of land lying in the County of Westmoreland, containing 140 acres and bounded by the lands of William Edwards, Elihu Hall and the said Gerard Hutt which said tract of land was devised by the last will and testament of Gerard Hutt, deceased to his two sons the said Nimrod Hutt and William Spence Hutt. In witness whereof the said Nimrod Hutt, William Spence Hutt, and Constance U. E. Hutt his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.

At a court held for Westmoreland County the 22nd day of August 1796 this indenture of bargain and sale and receipt thereon endorsed was proved by the oaths of James Bland, Charles Muse and Thomas Stowers three of the witnesses thereto as to Nimrod Hutt and acknowledged as to William S. Hutt and ordered to be recorded
