List of Debts for Lawrance Owen
In the Inventories is a list of the debts due to the estate of Lawrance Owen. Other probate information shows that the inventory was filed in Frederick county. The list is undated; however, other probate information indicates the date to be March 1762. This list can be found in Liber 77, Folios 337-357.
=== Research note from Debra Crawford
Death 2 May 1761.
Family bible says “died May 2nd 1761, about 1:00 in the afternoon”.
Date of will should be changed to 1 May. The original is spelled “first” but the s is old style and looks like a f, which also likely, with date of death recorded in family bible. (Not that they are always right!!!)
Also add to Will Wit and teste: William Williams son of Thos.
