Will of ANDERSON DONIPHAN.
I ANDERSON DONIPHAN of county of King George and Parish of Brunswick ..give and bequeath unto my loving wife MAGDALINE DONIPHAN all my estate she keeping together all my loving children with her to be maintained and Educated on the profits of said Estate to wit those children GERRARD DONIPHAN, ROSEANNA DONIPHAN, MARY DONIPHAN, ELIZABETH DONIPHAN and LUCRETIA DONIPHAN (should my wife live to receive the part of Negroes her property of her Father THOMAS MONTEETH'S Estate left her by his will) sold for money to be distributed equally between my three daughters to wit ROSEANNA DONIPHAN, MARY DONIPHAN and ELIZABETH DONIPHAN .. to my son GERRARD DONIPHAN all my land whereon I now live after the death or marriage of his Mother .. if he dies land to be sold and money equally divided among daughters .. that my Father MOTT DONIPHAN have care of my estate .. appoint my wife MAGDALINE DONIPHAN my Father MOTT DONIPHAN and my Brother ALEXANDER DONIPHAN Executrix and Executors .. this 4th day of December 1760. May 28, 1755, reign of George II. From the land of Anderson Doniphan, in King George County, to the land of Lawrence Battaile, in the County of Caroline.--See Hening, Volume VI, page 495.
Anderson Doniphan (???) Resolved, That it is the opinion of this Committee, that the proposition of the County of King George for appointing a ferry to be kept on the Rappahannock River from the land of Anderson Doniphan in that County to the land formerly of Nicholas Meriwether, now of Lawrence Battaile in Caroline County is reasonable.--Volume VI, 495, Hening's, 1742-1749, pages 281-295-350, Book 17558, pages 42, 265.

Deceas'd now in possession SAMUEL DONNE Gent. whereof &wherein said Ellin is by Law Intituled to her Dower .. This Indenture Witnesseth for sum Eighty pounds current money of Virginia quit claim unto Mott Doniphan all manner of Dower

Indenture made 4th/5th April 1751 between ANDERSON DONIPHAN and ELIZABETH his wife of Brunswick Parish King George County of one part and JANE PAYNE of Hannover Parish King George .. by deeds of lease & release .. for sum Thirty one pounds Five shillings lawfull money of Virginia sold 90 acres it being one moiety of 180 acres as devised by the last Will & Testament of WILLIAM GRANT the Elder deceased to his Son WILLIAM GRANT the Younger (who was the Father of the said ELIZABETH DONIPHAN party to these presents) and (who) by his Will did devise the same together with his personal Estate to be equally divided between his two Daughters vizt. the aforesaid Elizabeth & MARY GRANT ..
