      Indenture made November 10, 1762; Benjamin Hall s/o Benjamin for divers good causes and considerations him hereunto moving hath demised leased and to farm let by these presents unto Frances Boyd, spinster during her natural life, 20 acres of land and dwelling house being part of 83-1/3 acres of land conveyed by her to me out of a tract called "Ample Grange" [sic "Amptill Grange"].       Indenture made February 21, 1763; between Martha Grove of the first part, John Hinton, Sr., and John Hinton Jr. of the second part and Benjamin Hall son of Benjamin of the third part. Whereas Martha Grove and Mary Hinton (deceased) wife of said John Hinton, Sr., and Frances Boyd were the only daughters of Charles Boyd, deceased and where entitled to as coheirs in 250 acres of land part of a tract called Ample Grange" [sic Amptill Grange"] and whereas Martha Groves in her own right and the said John Hinton, Sr., as tenant for life and John Hinton, Jr. as the eldest son and heir of Mary Hinton and Benjamin Hall claiming under a deed of conveyance from Frances Boyd have agreed upon a division of the land and in consequence they have further agreed to execute a deed of partition each to the other over their several parts of the 250 acres each receiving 83-1/3 acres.
