Virginia xber the 28th 1686
IN THE NAME OF GOD Ame. I JOHN LINCOLN of Rappa County of Farnham Parish being very sick & weeke of body but of perfect memory thanks be to God for it doth make this my last Will & Testamt: revoking all other Wills Testamts, in form following
Imprs. I bequeath my Soule to Christ my Redeemer & my body to Christian buriall according to the discretion of my Executr. hereafter menconed
I doe give to my dear Wife, ELIZABETH, all what land I now am possessed of during her naturall life not to be destroyed by her & likewise a Childs part of all stock & moveables I do give all my land unto my Son, JOHN, after his Mothers decease to be quietly possessed by him & likewise one young horse named Nabb branded with J: L: on the further buttock and two Cowes & calves marked with two crops & two slitts of the neare Eare one slitt of the right Eare & under keeled on the same with their encrease not to be removed of my now dwelling plantacon
I do give to my Daughter, ELIZ:, 1 mare big wth foale named Betty wth: her encrease, not to be removed as aforemenconed & two Cowes & calves marked as afore menconed wth their encrease not to be removed of my now dwelling plantacon
I do give to my Daughter, MARGARET, one younge horse named Ball of two years old and two cows and calves of the former marke with the encrease to romaine upon the now dwelling plantacon
I do give to my Daughter, CATHERINE, one mare called Pigg with her encrease with two cows & calves with encrease not to be removed of my now dwelling plantacon
I do give to my four Children aforemenconed and to each of them one Sow & two Barrows of one yeare age

Us the Subscribers are able to attest that this was the reall dictate of JOHN LINCOLN sensible to the last Word writeing and likewise that he did urge to have CHARLES DODSON to be his Executr: several! times when his Wife was named

- ELIZABETH LINCOLNE, FRANCIS HARTLEY & JOHN MILLS enter themselves joyntly & severally in an assumpsit of 50000 lb of tobb & caske payable to this Court that she the sd ELIA: LINCOLNE shall justly & truely administer the Estate of her dead Husband, JNO. LINCOLN, & give true account thereof either to this Court or to whom it shall properly belonge when thereunto lawfully required
- CHARLES DODSON in open Court relinquished his right of Executr:ship to the last Will and Testamt, of JNO. LINCOLNE deced

- This day JOHN HILL as Marrying the Admistrx. of JOHN LINCOLNE deced confest judgment to HENRY HARTLEY for Sixteen hundred pounds tobb & caske according to Bill which this Court have ordered to be paid with cost of suit

- Judgment is granted to WM: COLSTON against JOHN HILL as Marrying ELIZ., the Relict of JOHN LINCOLNE, for five hundred & sixteen pounds of tobb: upon acct. of Clerkes fees, to be pd with cost of suit als exe.
