Anthony Linton his deed of gift to Thomas and Alice Shaw These presents witness that I Anthony Linton of the County of Northumberland, Planter for and in [-----] of my true love and affection to my dear sister Alice Shaw wife of Thomas Shaw now of Yorke [--] do hereby set and to afirm both to my said [-----] Thomas and Alice Shaw three hundred and fifty acres of land being the uppermost of my said deed [-----] Westerly upon [-----] Wicocomocoe River [-----] there of and hereby the three hundred and twenty poles South into the woods and distinquished by marker as appointed as may appear by my pattent to have and to hold the said land with all previledges them to apportaining etc. so long as they or either of them shall live [-----] provided they let it out to neither person or persons nor make use of any of the timber but for the good of the plantation And that I the said Anthony or my assignees have the benefit of half the peach trees now growing and if they come not this year this writing be void and of non effect In conformation where of! have here unto set my hand this last of August 1653.

These are to Testify that I NICHOLAS JOURNEW have given unto ALICE SHAWE, Wife to THOMAS SHAWE, one Browne pyde heyfer with all her whole increase for ever, the marke of the sd. Heyfer is that shoe is cropt on the right eare slitt and an underkeele under the halfe crop, the which heyfer I desire to be recorded for her use as Witnes my hand this 20th of April! 1660

SHAW his Estate unto Capt. JOHN ROGERS & Mr. NICH: OWEN, who may order them to pay to each other as to them shall appears due from either of them

- Whereas p a condicon under ye hands and seales of THOMAS SHAW, ALICE SHAW & WILLIAM LYNTON dated ye 7th of Janry: 1672, It appeares to this Cort: yt: ye sd. THOMAS SHAW & his Wife did oblige them selves yt: ye saide WILLIAM LYNTON his Wife & Children should live on ye Plantacon of ye sd. SHAW dureing ye life of ye sd. SHAW & his Wife, & yt: ye saide SHAW should provide for ye Family of ye sd. LYNTON as alsoe for his Stock at ye sole costs of ye saide SHAW, sufficient provision untill such Lyme yt. ye Stock of ye sd. LYNTON should equall yt: of ye saide SHAWes as per ye saide condicon more at large appeares. & whereas THO: PERYNE, who maryed ALICE SHAW aforesd., ye Relice of THO: SHAW, aforesaid, did declare by a latter agreement made betweene ye sd, ALICE SHAW & WILLIAM LYNTON ye Crop was divided & each p:sons p:ticular parte ascertayned & prayed yt: ye former condicon might be delivered in wth: ye consent of ye saide WILLIAM. It is ordered yt: ye sd. WILLIAM shall quietly & peaceably tend & finish this Crop & yt: he shall injoy all ye priviledges granted him for him selfe, family & Stock on ye sd. plan tacon by ye first condicon untill ye fifteenth of Aprill next & noe longer
