KNOW ALL MEN that wee MARY BILLINGTON, WM. COOPER & HENRY PERKINS of ye County of Essex are firmly bound unto JNO: CATLETT Gent., President of ye sd County Court in sum of Four hundred pds. Sterl. Witness our hands and seales this 10th day of Septembr 1700
The Condition of this obligation is that if ye above bound MARY BILLINGTON, Admrx. of all ye goods & credits of JNO: BILLINGTON deced do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods and creditts of ye sd deced wch: have come to ye hands of her the said MARY BILLINGTON And ye same so made do exhibit to ye next Court that shall be held for ye above sd County of Essex and make Oath thereto & ye same well and truely admr. according to Law and further doe make a true and full ascot. of her administracon when she shall be thereto lawfully required and all ye rest of ye goods and creditts wch: shall be found ye same being first examined and allowed by ye said Court shall deliver & pay unto such persons respectively as ye sd Court p:rsuant to Law shall appoint, Then this obligation to be void otherwise to remaine in full force Signed sealed & delivered in ye presence of us

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I MARY DAY, Widow and Relict of JOHN DAY, late of Rappa: County deced, for the natural love and affection wch I bear to JOHN DAY, Sonne of the said MARY and my said deced Husband, and for his better setting forth in the world when he shall attaine his full age of one and Twenty yeares have given and with the consent of JOHN BILLINGTON (with whom I am this day to intermarry) testified by his Subscribing his name as Witness hereunto give unto the said JOHN DAY one new feather bed bowlster pillow and furniture bonafide realy worth One thousand pounds of Tob: and cask, fower cowes between the ages of five and seaven years and foyer breeding Sows To have and to hold the same unto the said JOHN DAY my Sonn his heires forever and I the said MARY DAY doe hereby obleidg myselfe my assignes to warrant and deliver the said bed Cowes and Soaves and every of them unto my said Sonne at his age aforesaid for his better setting forth and Credit in the World In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this seaven and Twentieth day of Aprill 1683
