THIS DEED Indented & made this 21st day of 7:ber in the yeare of our Lord 1693 between JOHN HILL & ELIZABETH his Wife of the County of Richmond in Virginia, Plantr., of the one and JOHN CREELE of the sd County of Richmond Plantr., of the other partie Witnesseth that the sd JOHN HILL & ELIZABETH his Wife for a valuable consideracon to them in hand paid by the said JOHN CREELE have granted and by these presens do fully & absolutely granted unto the said JOHN CREELE all that their parcell of land being in the Parish of FARNHAM in the sd County of Richmond conteyning by estimation Sixty acres more or less, Beginning at a corner Hickory tree standing between the PATH going to .BARTHLEMEW' WOODs and a PATH going to WALTR WEBB, it being a corner tree of GEO: DEVENPORTs & JOHN HILL & so alonge the sd DEVENPORTs line till you come to a corner red Oake, thence to the head of a small branch issuing out of the Maine Branch of NORTHUMBERLAND RIVER and down the sd Branch till you come to the Maine Swamp, thence down the sd Swamp till you come to a corner white Oake of JOHN LINK HORN'S, thence to our first beginning Hickory, which said Sixty acres of Land is part & parcel! of a devident of Land conteyning Eight hundred acres of Land Patented by JOHN CARPENTER, CHARLES CARPENTER & WM WEST, and part of it taken up by JNO. HILL relacon being thereunto had may more fully appeare And the Revercon & Revercons, Deeds, Lettrs:, Escrips touching or concerning the same; To have & to hold the said Sixty acres of land with every of their appurtenances unto the sd JOHN CREELE his heirs & assignes forever with all profitts belonging in as large & ample manner as are expressed in the original] Patent of the whole devident above specified and by the Rents & services therein men coned to be due & payable and the sd JOHN HILL &ELIZABETH his Wife promise to warrant and keep indemnified the sd land unto the sd JOHN CREELE against all persons whatsoever
