      To all etc Whereas etc. Now know you that I the said Richard Bennett Esq. etc. give and grant unto William Bedlam seventy acres of land situated in the County of Northumberland commonly called by the name of Yeocomoco Point bounded on the South and Southwest a creek which divideth this land and the land of Thomas Hayles, West and Northwest upon the land of Edward Walker North and Northeast upon or against Potomacke River East and Southeast upon Yeocomoco River the said land being due unto the said Wm. Bedlam by and for the transportation of two persons into this colony both whose names are in records mentioned under this pattent dated the 29th of November 1652.

      These presents testify that I Wm. Bedlam do hereby for diverse good causes and considerations me hereunto moving assign and set over unto Seth Foster and to his heirs and assignees forever all my right title and interest of this pattent and all priviledges hereby granted in as full and ample manner as of is granted to me.

      WILLIAM BEDLAM aged 35 yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined sayth that being in the Sloope of Coll: JNO: MOTTROMs deced., & haveing full power from ye Admr, of the sd. Estate to agree for Freight in the sd. Sloope & the sd. WM.       IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen . I EDMOND SINCLER beinge sick & weake in body but haveing perfect sense & memory thanks bee to God for it, have made this to be my Last. Will & Testamt. viz.
      Imprs. I bequeath my Soule to Allmighty God who gave it mee trusting in him & his Sonne. Jesus Christ, my Saviour that they will receive it into glory vith, him & his blessed Angells,
      I bequeath unto Coll. JOHN TRUSSELL my fifty acres of Land & my share of the houses thereupon wth. my Cow & my guns;

Due by patent to William Bedlam, 29 Nov. 1652 & assigned to sd. Holden.
