      THIS INDENTURE made the Second day of February in the tenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Ann by the Grace of God of Great Brittaine, France and Ireland, Queen defender of the faith, and in the yeare of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Twelve. Betweene JOHN BROWNE of the Parish of St. Maryes in the County of Richmond within the Dominion of Virginia, Planter, of one part and THOMAS WHITE of the same Parish of St. Maryes in County of Richmond within. the Dominion of Virginia, Planter of other part; Wittnesseth that JOHN BROWNE in consideration of the summe of Five shillings of good and las/full money of England to him in hand paid by THOMAS WHITE, by these presents doth bargaiane and sell unto THOMAS WHITE Fifty acres of Land being part of a Patent of Seven hundred forty four acres of land granted unto WILLIAM BALTROP and WILLIAM BROWNE bearing date August the Seventh 1664 and being the plantation whereon said JOHN BROWNE now liveth on, twenty foot square only excepted for a buryall place, Begining aft a marked white corner tree formerly sold by said JOHN BROWNE unto EDWARD TAYLER and runing along said EDWARD TAYLORs line, East and by North 208 pole to a Stake between a red Oake and white Oake saplin in said TAYLORs line, thence S. 38 1/2 E. 27 pole to a Stake by two marked red Oakes, thence W. 28 1/2d. S. 138 poles over a Branch to a Stake nigh the House, thence W 15 N: to a Mulberry tree in the Old Field, 34 pole, thence N. 64d. W: 27 pole to a white Oak saplin, thence W: 15 N: 31 pole to a red Oake, thence N. 2d.       KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN BROWNE of the Parish of St. Mar-yes and County of Richmond, Planter, do acknowledge and confess my self to stand justly indebted unto THOMAS WHITE of the same County and Parish, Planter, the just and full summe of Nineteen thousand pounds of good sound and merchantable Leafe Tobbo : and cask to be paid convenient to water in the County and Parish abovesaid upon demand to the true payment whereof I bind my selfe my heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with my seale this second day of February one thousand seven hundred and twelve
      The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the abovesaid JOHN BROWNE his heirs do keep THOMAS WHITE his heirs in quiet and peaceable possession of a tract of land containing fifty acres wch: the said THOMAS WHITE bought of ye sd. JOHN BROWNE from all manner of troubles that shall or might be hereafter and from ye clayme or claymes of all manner of persons whatever as by a Deed of Sale bearing date the (blank) doth express, Then this obligation to be voyd and of no effect, otherwise to stand and remaine in full force and virtue

      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty third day of October in the thirteenth year of the Reigne of our Suvereigne Lady Ann by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland, Queen defender of the faith &c., dand in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and thirteene Betweene WILLIAM MARSHALL of the Parish of St. Marys in the County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and THOMAS WHITE of the same Parish and County, Planter, of the other part; Wittnesseth that WILLIAM MARSHALL in consideration of the summe of Five shillings of good and lawful money of England to him in hand paid by said THOMAS WHITE; by these presents doth bargaine and sell unto THOMAS WHITE all that parcell of land lying in Parish of St. Marys in the County of Richmond containing by estimation Seventy five acres of land being part of a tract of land taken up by said WILLIAM MARSHALL containing Two hundred and Sixty eight acres in the whole which part beginneth att a white Oake a corner tree of Capt. FRANCIS SLATER standing in a Branch near the said SLATERs Fence and running along the line of said SLATER to a small Hickory standing in the line where RALPH WORMLEY JUNR. run lately a Survey, thence along a line of marked trees to a red Oake a corner tree by a Path side being also a corner tree of SAMUEL WHARTON, thence along the line of the said WHARTON to a Hickory in the Old field by a Swamp side, and by the water course of said Swamp to the begining white Oake, with all the rights members and appurtenances thereof; To have & to hold the part of land and premises unto THOMAS WHITE his heirs dureing the full terme of one whole yeare paying therefore one eare of Indian Corne on the Birth day of our Lord God next ensueing if demanded, to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, said THOMAS WHITE may be in the actual! possesssion of the premises aforesaid and be thereby the better enabled to accept a release confirmation or other conveyance of the freehold reversion and inheritance thereof; In Wittness whereof the parties aforesaid either to the other interchangeably have hereunto sett their hands and seals the day month and year first above written

      THIS INDENTURE mde the twenty fourth day of October in the thirteenth year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anne by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland, Queen defender of the faith &c., Between WILLIAM MARSHALL of the Parish of St. Marys in the County of Richmond, Planter, of one part and THOMAS WHITE of the same Parish & County, Planter, of the other part; Wittnesseth that WILLIAM MARSHALL in consideration of the summe of Six thousand pounds of good sould merchantable tobacco and cask to him in hand paid by THOMAS WHITE by these presents doth bargaine sell release and confirm unto THOMAS WHITE and his heirs, the said THOMAS WHITE being in actuall possession of the premises by virtue of a Lease thereof made bearing date the day before the date of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession all that parcell of Land being part of a Divident of Land upon GINGOTEGUE in Parish and County aforesaid being a piece of land that said WILLIAM MARSHALL obtained a Patent for Two hundred and Sixty eight acres, the Pattent bearing date the twenty sixth day of May 1712, relation being had to said Patten will more largely appears; the parcell herein to be sold and bought out of the said Patent beginneth (the description of the bounds repeated as in the foregoing Lease); To have and to huld the parcell of land with every of their respective rights members and appurtenances unto THOMAS WHITE his heirs; And said WILLIAM MARSHALL and ANNE his Wife and their heirs warrant and for ever defend the said land and premises unto THOMAS WHITE his heirs against the claymes of all persons; In Wittness whereof the parties aforesaid either to the other interchangeably have hereunto sett their hands and seales the day month and yeare first mentioned

MARSHALL from all manner of troubles and from the claymes of all manner of persons, as by Deed of Sale bearing date the twenty fourth of October 1713 doth express, Then this obligation to be voyd and of none effect, otherwise to stand in full force and remaine in power and virtue
