THOMAS SMITH aged about 32 yeares swerne & exmined before his Maties justices of ye peace p, County of Staffd: 11 Novembr: 1680 deposeth as folloveth; that JNO; DRY related to your Depont: that MARY RICHARDS would have poured downe his throat boiling milke which ye people in ye House asking a reason of ye action, ye said JNO: DRY answered, because she ye said MARY would have his Copp, and of this JNO; DRY proffered to take his oath before any Magestraie and further yor: Deponent saith not, onely further deposeth being examined by ye Court that hee was well in his senses THOMAS SMITH mrke.
