John Humel recorded 23 November 1770, made 21 July between Charles Beatty of Frederick County and George Fraser Hawkins ofPrince Georges County, for £6 sel1s lot in Addition to Georgetown, being a part oftract Knave's Disappointment, known as lot #132. He is to pay annual rents. Signed by Charles Beatty, G. Fraser Hawkins before Jos Wood, Thos Price. Acknowledgment, and Martha wife of Charles Beatty and Susanna Truman wife ofGeorge Fraser Hawkins relinquished dower rights before Charles Jones, Andrew Heugh.

Indenture made October 1, 1771; Jacob Funck, yeoman of PGCo in consideration of 5 pounds current money of Maryland paid by John Hummel of Frederick County, Maryland has sold the following lots lying in the Town of Hamburgh; "Lot Number 95" having 80 feet front on Market Street and 230 feet back to Arch Street;
To have and to hold subject to a yearly quit rent per lot of one half penny sterling from the 1st day of November next. Signed Jacob Funck in the presence of Benjamin Spyker, Zachariah White and acknowledged before Joshua Beall, Christopher Lowndes and at the same time Ann Funck wife of Jacob Funck released her relinquished her right of dower
