      At the Request of Basil Talburt the following Deed was Recorded December th: 6 1759 To All People to whom this Present writting Shall Come I Joseph Pommitt of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland
      Merchant Send Greeting Know ye that I the said Joseph Pommit as will for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Current Money as also the Naturall Love & Affection I have & bear unto Basil Talburt of the County & Province aforesd as also Devise other good Causes & Considerations to me at Presents Especially Moving I have given granted aliend Confimed and made over and by these Presents do give grant alien Confirm & make over unto the Said Basil Talburt his heirs & Assigns foreve part of a Tract of Land Called forrest formerly Served Thomas Wilcoxon but now in the Possession of Joseph Pommitt Lying & being Situate in Prince Georges County (land description not included see deed) Containing one hundred and Thirty two & a half Acres of Land more or Less to have & to hold the said Parcell of Land & Premises with all & Singular the profits Advantages & Commodities Ever to his & their proper use & to behoof freely & Quietly without any Manner of Claim or Demand Trouble or Molestataion of me the said Joseph Pommitt or without any Money or Other things to be yealed paid or done unto me the said Joseph Pommitt my heirs Exrs Admrs or Assigns & I the said Joseph Pommitt for myself & my heirs the sail Parcell of Land & Premises unto the said Basil Talburt & his heirs as aforesd against me the said Joseph Pommitt my heirs Admirs or Assigns Shall and will for Ever Warrant & Defend in Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand Affixt my Seal this 12th Day of November the year of our Lord God one thousand Seven hundred & fifty Nine

      Indenture made July 20, 1772; Francis Poston, Jr. of Fairfax County, Virginia and Solomy Poston his wife formally Solomy Talbutt of PGCo in consideration of 30 pounds current money paid by Michael Lowe of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Forrest" containing 132 ½ acres formerly surveyed for Thomas Wilcoxon and formerly in the possession of Joseph Ponnett and beginning at a bounded white oak standing on the west side of Hensons Branch of Potomac River, begin the same land which was heretofore conveyed by Joseph Ponnett to the aforesaid Solomy Talbutt in fee simple.
