    • Anna Evans Kent, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. L. Boham, Salina, Kansas Saturday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. of old age, complicated with other diseases. At the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 11 days. Anna Evans Kent was born in Bainbridge, Ross County, Ohio on August 29, 1825. She was married to Joseph B. Kent on November 27, 1845. And they moved to Rosendale, Missouri, where she spent most of her life. She was united with the Methodist church at the age of 12 years, and had always been a conscientious Christian woman, having the highest respect of all who knew her.
