Wm. Allenson his pattent
Know all etc. whereas etc. now know you that I the
said Sir William Berkeley etc. give and grant unto William
Allenson Sen'r [-----] hundred and fifty acres of land
situtated lying and being in the County of Northumberland
abutting Easterly upon Claughtons Creek northerly upon a
branch of the said creek that divideth this land from the land
of George Crouch Southerly upon a branch of the said creek
that divideth this land from the Glebe Land and Westerly
upon the main woods the said one hundred and fifty acres of
land being granted unto him the said Wm. Allenson by and
for the transportation of three persons into this colony
whose names .are in the records mentioned under this pattent
etc.
dated the 21st of December 1650.

a pattent to Walter Weekes
Know all men by these presents that I Wm. Allenson
for and in consideration of a valuable sum of tobacco
received have assigned and do by these presents assign all
my right title and interest of the said land contained in that
pattent with all previledges and rights there unto belonging
unto Walter Weekes his heirs and assignees for ever in
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the 12th day
of April 1653.

20th May 1653 this assignment of William Allenson
to Walter Weekes was acknowledged in court by the said
Wm. Allenson and the assignment and pattent are recorded.

To all Christian people to whom these p:sents shall come, Know ye that we JOHN MOTTROM & THOMAS SPEKE of the County of Northumberland doe for divers good causes & considerations us thereunto moveing & further for the nursing of a young maide of RICHARD PURLEVANTs, late deceased, we the aforesaid MOTTROM & SPEKE being Administrators on the Estate of the sd. PURLEVANTs Children have bargained & sould & doe by thse pr:sents bargain & sell unto GEORGE CROUCH of the same place & his heires or assignes, Vizt., one Cow Calfe blacke cropt on the left eare & a peece taken out with her future increase. wee the said MOTTOM & SPEKE doe warrant unto the said CROUCH his heires & assignes for ever; Witness our hands this 13th day of Novem; 1648 JNO: MOTTROM
