      IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen, I LAURENCE DAMERON being weake in body yett thanks be to God in good p:fect memory doe make & ordaine this my Last Will & Testament in manner & forme following;
      Imprs. I bequeath my Soule to God my Creater & my body to the Earth;
      It. I give & bequeath unto my Sonne, BARTH: DAMERON, one halfe of Five hundred acres of land scituated in GREATE WICOCOMOCO which I bought of Mr. PETER KNIGHT; the said land to be enjoyed peaceably by the sd, BARTHOLOMEW his heires for ever; & to be delivered him at ye death of his Mother, with one Ceder Bedstead, one longe table with forme & benches to it & one couch all which stands in the Greate Roome
      It. I give unto my Sonne, GEORGE DAMERON, the other halfe of the Five hundred acres of land above specified to him & his heires for ever with one Ceder Bedstead, one small Cedar table & one Couch, which all stand in the Chamber, to be delivered at the death of his Mother and then the land & the houses to be equally devided betweene BARTHO: DAMERON & GEORGE DAMERON;
      It. I give unto BARTHOLOMEW, GEORGE & THOMAS ( ) men Servants that have foyer yvares or more to serve, six barrells of Carne, ( ) soaves and good feather bed with ( ) guns, one good chest, ( ) & one little one, foyer ( ) Silver spoones, these to bee ( ) they come to the age of ( );
      It. I give & bequeath ( ) one able man Servant ( ) serve, six coves ( ) to it, on one in lad ( ) iron pott, foyer ( ) spoones to be deliv( )

      Mr. Peter Knight his pattent,
      To all etc. whereas etc. now know you that I the said
      Sr. Wm. Berkeley etc. give and grant unto Peter Knight
      Gent. five hundred acres of land on the Southside of Great
      Wicocomoco River, part [-----] and part marsh being a neck
      bounded Easterly on the Great Bay and Westerly on the
      creek that parts the same from the Indian Tribe of
      Cuttatowmen Northerly and Northeast upon the mouth of
      the said Wicocomoco River and thence extending Southerly
      between the said creek and another creek coming out of the
      said bay to the head [-----] of four hundred poles the said
      land being due unto the said Peter Knight by and for the
      transportation of ten persons into the colony, and whose
      names are in records mentioned under the pattent etc. Dated
      the tenth of October 1649.

      These presents witness that I Peter Knight of
      Wicocomoco Gent. do hereby and for a valuable
      consideration received before the signing here of [-----] I
      acknowledge myself to be fuIly contented and [----] seIl and
      assume over to Mr. Lawrence Dameron all my right title and
      interest to and in the above mentioned pattent and land and
      do engage myself my heirs extrs assignees to warrent that I
      have sufficient power to make a legal and sufficient sale
      thereof, hereto witness my hand and seal this fourth day of
      June in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and
      fifty and five.

      20th August 1655, this assignment was acknowledgeed in
      court unto Mr. Lawrence Dameron by Mr. Peter Knight and
      the assignment and pattent are recorded.

      John Bradshawe his will
      In the name of God Amen, I John Bradshawe being weak of body yet of perfect memory, God be praised, do heartly make my last will and testament. Imprimus I bequeath my soul unto God, my Redeemer and Savior, and my body to be buried Christian like between my two daughters in my brothers orchard.
      Item - I give to my wife Temperance three hundred forty and five acres of land, only my will is that William Hill should have sixty acres of land laying over against George Knott butting against a mark tree of Lawrence Dameron and that the said Wm. Hill should peaceably enjoy
      the said land at the age of 21 years, and if in case my wife should die without issue that the said land should fall by heritage to my brother Roberts first child and so to go from generation to generation to the name of Bradshawes springing from their loins and never to be sold nor
      mortgaged, and likewise when all my debts are satisfied that my wife should peaceably enjoy all my goods within my house also my cattle without doors which are in number six 2 cows one year old bull and year old steer and two weaning bull calves with all my stock of hogs, both old and young, only my will is that my brother should have my hat my gun my wearing clothes and two razors and my books and
      likewise, my will is that my wife should be full and wholey my extrx and my brother Robert Bradshawe and my loving neighbor Anthony Linton to be my Overseers for to aid and assist my wife and to see this will of mine performed as witness my hand and seal the 12thday of July 1655.
