Lansberry and William Glore are held and firmly bound to the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the penal sum of $100 for the payment whereof well and truly to be made we find ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly severally and finally by these presents witness our signatures this 15th day of August 1850
      the condition of the above obligations is such that whereas a marriage is certainly intended to be solemnized between the said Augustus M. Lansberry and Mary Ann Sterns know if there is no lawful cost to obstruct said marriage than the above obligation to be void, else to be in full force

      to any minister of the gospel, priest any domination, or judge of the court, in the state of Kentucky legally authorized to solemnized marriage, greeting:
      you are hereby authorized to celebrate the rights of marriage between Augustus M. Lansberry and Mary Ann Sterns and for so doing this shall be your sufficient warrant. Witness my hand as clerk of the Boone County court this 15th day of August 1852 J.G. Hamilton, Clerk
      On the 15th day of August 1852 the following return on said license was made
      I solemnized a marriage between Augustus M. Lansberry and Mary Ann Sterns named within at Howletts School House in the presence of Wm Howlett and Fleming Ratentson(?) on the 15th day of August 1852, Thos Denness (?)

      I have to think that Mary Eliza must have had some family living in Boone when she decided to move by herself back there after William Wagoner died. I don't think anyone would just move somewhere without any place to live. I'm sure she wasn't wealthy.

      I've searched Boone county in 1870 for Lansbury's, Rowan's, and Stearns and I come up with nothing. BUT I do find a whole lot of Glore's and Howlett's. So I think you are right about the Glore connection.
