      Know all men by these presents that Thomas A. Marshall, and Wife Mildred F., Alexander Marshall and his wife Celia Anne Marshall, N.V. Marshall and wife Anne (Heyler) Marshall, Charles Clark, and wife Laura B. Clark, Susan Richards and Lewis Richards, Cynthia Taney, M. Taney, for and in consideration of the premises hereunafter mentioned do hereby bargain sell and convey to Alonzo Marshall his heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate to wit Lot No.3 of the Dower Tract set apart to Eveline Marshall widow of Sebastian Marshall Dec'd, and lying and being in Boone County Kentucky and particularly described as follows.

      Beginning at a stone a corner of lot No 2, thence South 18-1/2, East 18-2/10 poles to a stone a corner of Lot No. 4 Thence South 88-1/2, East 35-6/10 poles to a corner of lot No. 4 thence North 2, East 17 poles to a stone a corner of lot No. 2. Thence North 88-1/2 West 42 Poles to the beginning containing Four and 1/8 acres more or less.

      Together with all the privileges and appearances to the same belonging to have and to hold the same to the said Alonzo Marshall his heirs and assigns forever the grantors his heirs and administrators and execution hereby conveying with the grantee his heirs and assigns that the title so conveyed is clear free and unencumbered and that they will warrant and defend the same against all legal claims whatsoever

      The consideration of this deed is that whereas Cynthia Taney, Susan Richards, Alonzo Marshall, N.V. Marshall, Alexander Marshall, Laura B. Clark, Thomas A. Marshall and John Marshall are the Sole surviving heir of Sebastian Marshall and his wife Eveline Marshall both Decd. and whereas all of said heirs are of age and have mutually agreed to divide said dower among themselves amicably and without interpretation to court according to a division and plat and survey made by William Fennill S.B.and. on August 23, 1882 and John Marshall having heretofore sold and conveyed his interest to and unto said Dower tract to Thomas A. Marshall as per Recorded deed there fore the grantees aforesaid have sold and conveyed the above described lot No. 5 to said grantee his heirs and assignees forever. Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging to have and to hold the same to the said Alonzo Marshall heirs and assigns forever the grantees their heirs executes and administrates hereby conveying with the grantee for heir and assigns that the lot so conveyed is clear free and unencumbered and that will warrant and defend the same against all legal claim whatsoever.

      In witness whereof the said Thomas A. Marshall and wife Mildred F, Alexander Marshall and Celia Anne Marshall, N.V. Marshall Taney and wife Annie, Charles Clark and wife Laura B. Clark, Susan Richards and Lewis Richards, Cynthia Taney, M. Taney, have hereunto act their hand this 2nd day of January 1883.

Richards of same county and state of Kentucky the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby bargain sell and convey to the said J. O. Richards his heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate and personal property to wit; The real estate described this lying and situated in Boone County Ky on the waters of Gunpowder Creek and bounded thus; beginning at a stone in Woodford Carpenters line also a corner of C.C. Snow thence with said Snow's line S58W61-1/5 poles to a stone a corner of lot No 7 thence S67E54 poles to a stone in Woodford Carpenters line thence with said line N2-1/2E53-3/5 poles to the beginning containing 8-1/2 acres an being lot No 6 in the division of the lands of Sebastian Marshall deceased; the personal property referred to is described thus, 1 brown mare 7 years old, 1 black filly 2 years old, 1 sorrel horse 4 years old, 1 red cow all of said property is now in possession of the grantee; together with all the priveleges and appurtenances to the same belonging to have and to hold the same to the said J.O.Richards his heirs and assigns forever the grantor his heirs executors and administrators hereby covenant with the grantee his heirs and assigns that the title so conveyed is clear and free and unincumberd and that he will warrant and defend the same against all legal claim whatsoever.

      Know all men that Thomas A. Marshall and Mildred E. Marshall his wife both of the county of Boone and state of Kentucky for and in consideration of 450 dollars to them paid by Alonzo A. Marshall of the county and state aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth hereby bargain sell and convey to the said Alonzo A. Marshall his heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate situated in Boone County Ky on the waters of Gunpowder Creek and recorded as follows; one tract of about 83 acres, the formally owned by Sebastian Marshall decd and same upon which he lived and died and the same now owned by the widow and heris of said Sebastian Marshall and the same upon which his widow now resides and another tract of about thirty acres being a portion of the Reuben Lancaster tract and being the same 30 acres upon which the said Thomas A. Marshall now resides. Now all this land belongs to eight children the heirs of the said Sebastian Marshall decd subject to the dower rights of his widow Eveline Marshall and has never been divided. Now the said Thomas A. Marshall and his wife hereby bargain sell and convey to the said Alonzo A. Marshall all of their undivided one eighth (1/8) interest in said tract of land subject to said dower.
