I didn't think that Francis Wyne's widow Elizabeth married 2nd John Hawkins. So I checked my data, and Elizabeth Holland married to Francis Wyne, and she married 2nd Henry Hawkins. See the abstract of the admn. acct. of Francis Wyne below.
Henry Hawkins died Bef. May 12, 1699, was the 2nd husband of Elizabeth Holland that died Bef. June 14, 1717 and the father of John Hawkins that married Elizabeth Marshall. John his son was from Henry's first marriage to Eleanor Cole.

Hello Sandy and List,
First off I want to give credit where credit is due.
Norma Thompson a wonderful researcher that was on many Maryland lists, and a researcher of Maryland ancestors and I did much research together. I admire her greatly, and miss her much.
The following was Norma's speculative conclusion as to who Henry Hawkins 1st wife "may have been".
Clearly open to speculation, and based upon his will and the abstracts of his admn. acct's.
I invite others to put forth their ideas as to what Elinor's maiden name maybe. Who knows we could solve this problem together.
Sincerely,
Shirley

We know that the first wife of Henry Hawkins died about 1681. I, also, have the birth of Mary Hawkins at about 1681 Proof is found in the Maryland Archives, Vol XV p 382, where Henry is excused from serving on a commission "because of his wife being lately dead".
Mary Hawkins deposed in 1755, and it was said that she was "seventy four years thereabouts". If this is correct, she would have been born the year that Eleanor died.
I think that the mother of Mary, Eleanor or Elizabeth, is a toss-up. I lean toward Eleanor thinking that perhaps Eleanor died in childbirth when Mary was born.
