We certify the several depositions hereunto annexed. Signed Feb 14, 1728 - Robt: Hanson, John King, Absalom Thorne.

Henry Tanner, age about 89, declares that about 30 years ago, he lived on the Plantation now in the possession of Thomas Stone, and that then Nicholas Bead showed him a bounded white oak standing near the brink of Nanjemy Cr by an old Gravelly Landing, which tree is now fallen in a small marsh near a crooked locust, which oak this deponent declares the sd Nicholas Bead told him was the bounded tree between the land of Mr: Stone and Mr: Gerrard Fowke, and that Mr: John Stone afterwards told this deponent that Nicholas Bead had showed him the right bounded tree. Signed - Henry Tanner. Feb 14, 1728.

William Davis, age about 70, declares that about 40 years past, he remembers a bounded white oak which stood very near the place mentioned in Henry Tanner's deposition, which John Hanson told him was the dividing tree between the lands of Mr: Stone and Mr: Gerrard Fowke. Signed - Wm Das. Feb 14, 1728.

Mathew Stone, age about 49, declares that the reputed bound tree (a white oak) between the lands of Mr: Stone & Mr: Gerrard Fowke, stood on the brink of Nanjemy Cr, near which place now stands a forked white oak sapling with a hammock of grape vines on the top, about 32 yards down the Cr from the place mentioned in Henry Tanner's deposition. Signed - Mathew Stone. Feb 14, 1728.

Priscilla Davis, about age 60, declares that a bounded white oak with a forked and bending top, stood between the place mentioned in Mathew Stone's deposition and the end of Stone's fence near Nanjemy Cr side, which this deponent has heard was the bound tree between the lands of Mr: Stone & Mr: Gerrard Fowke, according to the best of her knowledge. Signed - Priscilla (P her mark) Davis.

Edward Milstead, age about 70, declares that 40 odd years ago, Dr. Maddox showed him a bounded white oak standing at the end of a point near a marsh, and told this deponent that it was a dividing tree between his land and the land of Mr: John Stone, which tree is now standing but dead, at the root of which tree is a large stone with the letters GF cut thereon, which tree, this deponent says, he believes to be the tree which the sd Maddox showed him. Signed - Edward (E his mark) Millsted.
