    • William Winter Dunnington is selling land that he could have only had rights to by the marriage to a Sinnett

      Hannah is the only unmarried Sinnett and because she did not release her right of dower on February 6, 1810 in the following indenture, she must have died. William Winter Dunnington then marries Sarah Story Stone in 1812

      Indenture made February 6, 1810; Thomas Harrison Reeder and William W. Dunnington in consideration of 105 pounds paid by John Bush and Grace Ann Posey wife of Joseph H. Posey have sold a tract being in Durham Parish commonly called Broomsedge Resurveyed signed Thomas H. Reeder, William W. Dunnington in the presence of and acknowledged before Samuel Hanson, William Brawner
      February 6, 1810; Elizabeth Reeder wife of Thomas Harrison Reeder relinquished her right of dower

      I, William Hanson of CC being in a very low state of health, but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding
      To my two sister-in-laws, Hannah Sinnet and Elizabeth Sinnet, twenty five pounds current money each
      To wife Sarah Hanson, 1/3 part of all my real estate for and during the term of her natural live. Also 1/3 of my personal estate
      To child wife Sarah Hanson is now big with, remaining real and personal estate after debts and legacies paid. If child dies before lawful age, then all personal estate to wife.
