      I, John Dent of CC, being weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory;
      To my son John Dent, 200 acres part of Dent's Inheritance and part of Dent's Addition to be laid off where his dwelling plantation now lies and beginning at a bounded ash tree the beginning tree of Dent's Inheritance… East to the main run of Gilbert's Swamp.
      To my daughter Mary Dent, one hundred acres of land being part of Dent's Inheritance and part of Dent's Addition…adjoining my son John and my son Hatch. Also a negor girl named Sin, one feather bed and furniture, tow iron pots, one warming pin, one looking glass, one pewter dish, one pewter bason, six plates, one flax hackle, one frying pan, one bow, one sow and pigs, and two sheep.
      To my son Hatch Dent all the remaining part of my land of Dents Inheritance and Dent's Addition.
      To my daughter Mary Dent, my Water Mill and Hand Mill. I desire that she shall peaceably enjoy my Water Mill with the land whereon it now stands as far as is necessary for the support of the mill.
      To my daughter Sarah Clark, one negro boy, Clem.
      To my four daughters, Tabitha Moreland, Anne Davis, Mary Dent and Sarah Clarke, one negro woman, Bess, or the value of her equally divided.
      All the remaining personal estate not already disposed of to be equally divided amongst my four daughters.

      Indenture made November 19, 1810; Margaret Watson and Thomas Watson of Monongalia County, Virginia heirs of Ann Watson whose maiden name was Ann Dyson and who first intermarried with Henry Swan late of CC deceased and then to James G. Watson formerly of CC and now of Monongalia County, Virginia in consideration of $50 current money of the United States of America paid by Hatch Dent of John and Alexander Dent have sold all their rights to tracts of land in CC called "Oneales Desert" and "Dyson's Addition.
