      I, William Mackall Wilkinson of CC being indisposed but of perfect mind memory and understanding
      To wife Ann Herbert Wilkinson, the use of all my personal estate during her widowhood for the convenience of maintaining herself and family as also to educate my young children and that she may divide or give any part of said estate at any time she may think right to any or amongst my children. I also give her the use of my plantation called Trumans Place with all the land I possess to the right of the main road leading up the county during her widowhood and after that period, I give the said land to my son George Frances Wilkinson, but if he should die without lawful issue, then I give said land to son William Wilkinson.
      To son William Wilkinson, all my other lands that I possess or have any right to, but if he should die then said lands to son George Francis Wilkinson

      Indenture made April 27, 1776; James Johnson s/o John, planter of Charles County, Maryland in consideration of 220 pounds sterling money paid by William Mackall Wilkinson, planter in of PGCo has sold part of a tract called "Woods Joy" containing 100 acres and lying on the west side of Patuxent River formerly in Calvert County, Maryland and formerly sold and conveyed by John Mirth and Grisell Mirth his wife to Michael Farmer who sold and conveyed to Arthur Ludford who sold conveyed to James Williams {d. 1683} and then sold by James Williams {d. 1698} the son of the aforesaid James Williams wife {Grace Young} to Richard Hartup {his nephew} {and then to William Cooke d. 1729}. Signed James Johnson in the presence of John Cooke, L Holliday, Jr. and acknowledged before John Cooke and at the same time Mary Ann Johnson wife of James Johnson relinquished her right of dower

      Indenture made November 30, 1787; Walter Hanson Harrison of Charles County, Maryland in consideration of 1000 pounds current money paid by Peter Wood of Charles County, Maryland has sold the following five tracts; "Woods Joy" containing 200 acres lying in PGCo on the west side of Patuxent River and beginning at the stump of a marked oak by the riverside near the land of John Lang; part of "Woods Joy" which was formerly sold and conveyed by John Merth and Grissil Merth his wife to Michael Farmer and by him conveyed to Arthur Ludford and by him conveyed to James Williams and by his son James Williams devised to Richard Harlup and sold and lately conveyed by James Johnson to William Wilkinson included within the meets and bounds mentioned in the several deeds remaining on record in Calvert County Court reputed to be 100 acres; "Woods Prospect" lying on the west side of Patuxent River beginning at a bounded cedar post containing 50 acres; "Wilkinsons Addison" containing 17 acres and beginning at a small cedar bush growing in or near where formely stood the beginning tree of the whole tract of "Woods Joy"; and part of "Woods Joy" containing 17 acres. Mar 31, 1790 from William Mackall Wilkinson of CC, planter, to Matthew Blair of CC, Merchant, for 5 shillings, all that tract of land called Priors Cleave in CC, originally, on Jul 18, 1779, granted to Richard Charlett for 400 acres, but by resurvey made Dec 16, 1787, contains 992 acres, and is now called Priors Cleave. Also, one other tract of land called Trumans Place in CC, containing about 500 acres, including 10 acres of sd tract that was heretofore condemned by a Writ of Ad quad Damnum for the use of a Mill seat, heretofore commonly called Wilkinsons Mill, which land and mill seat has been conveyed to me by Bate, and by him to William Wilkinson by deed dated Dec 15, 1778, as by sd deed and sundry other deeds in the deed from Wilkinson to Bate is referred to. Also, one other tract of land in CC, being part of a tract of land called the Inclosure, which land contains 300 acres. Also, 3 stud horses, Roe buck, Dearnought, and Sloven, a mare called. Calipsa, and the crop of tobacco of the present year that shall be made by sd William Mackall Wilkinson, upon any of his lands. This deed is in trust for paying the following debts due from sd William Mackall Wilkinson: a bond dated Mar 24, 1790 to Findley Hopkirks and Co for 6906 lbs of crop tobacco and 574 11 shillings and 5 pence; a debt due to Forrest and Stoddart in judgment obtained in the General Court for which a fieri facias has been laid upon the land of sd William Mackall Wilkinson; 2 Judgments obtained against sd Wilkinson by Hanson in the General Court of Maryland, the one for 262 , and the other for 574 ; a debt due on a Judyment obtained in CC Court against sd Wilkinson by Thomas Bond and Elizabeth, his wife, for the use of Basil Hall; a debt due on Judgment obtained in CC against sd Wilkinson by John Craggs. Sd Wilkinson hereby appoints sd Matthew Blair his true and lawful attorney, to sell any of the lands, Negroes, and tobacco before mentioned, at public sale, in order to pay the afd debts.       Charles County Land Records 1790-1792; Liber K#4; Page 244. Trust Deed, Apr 2, 1791 from William Mackall. Wilkinson of CC, planter, to Matthew Blair of CC, merchant. Sd Wilkinson, by deed of trust dated Mar 31, 1790, sold to sd Blair, sundry lands, Negroes, horses, and quantities of tobacco therein described, in trust for the payment of sundry debts due from sd Wilkinson, as by CC deed recorded in Liber K No. 4. Sd Wilkinson is indebted to George Clarke Somerville, executor of John Somerville, on Judgment obtained in the General Court of this State at Oct Term 1785, and affirmed in the court of Appeals at Nov Term, 1790, amounting, with interest & cost to Mar 13, 1791, to 580 5 shillings and 1 penny, which debt was not included in the afd deed of trust. Sd Wilkinson wants the debt to be paid on the same terms as in the afd trust decd. Sd Wilkinson is willing to increase the fund in the afd deed for the more ample payment of the debts therein mentioned as well as this debt. Now this deed witnesses that sd Wilkinson, for 5 shillings, has sold to sd Blair, all that tract of land called Thomas' and James' Adventure, lying in CC on the east side of Zachia Swamp and on the east side of a small branch called Williams Branch, conveyed from Thomas Attaway Reeder to sd Wilkinson by CC deed dated Jun 15, 1790, and recorded in Liber K No. 4, containing about 130 acres.       At the request of William Wilkinson the following Release was recorded this 21st day of June Anno Domini 1802
      This Indenture made this fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two Between Gabriel Wood of the City of Baltimore in the State of Maryland and John Robertson and Robert Fergusson of Charles County and State afsd executors of the Last Will and testament of Matthew Blair late of Charles County deceased of the one part and William Wilkinson of the county and Stateafsd of the other part Whereas in and by a certain Indenture bearing date on or about the thirty first day of March in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety and made or mentioned to be made Between William Mackall Wilkinson of Charles County Planter of the one part and Matthew Blair of the same County merchant of the other part the sd William Mackall Wilkinson for the considerations therein mentioned did grant bargain and sell assign transfer and set over unto the sd Matthew Blair his Heirs and Assigns several tracts or parcels of Land Negroes Horses and Tobacco in trust for the uses and purposes therein mentioned expressed and declared of and concerning the same and in which sd recited Indenture is inserded and contained a covenant and agreement on the part and behalf of the said Matthew Blair his heirs executors and administrators to be observed kept and performed as in and by the sd recited Indenture recorded among the Land records of Charles County reference being thereunto had may more fully and at large appear And whereas the said William Mackall Wilkinson departed this life having duly mad and published his Last Will and Testament in writing bearing dated on or about the third day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight and thereby after sundry devises and bequests gave devised and bequeathed to the said William Wilkinson his son all his other Lands that he possessed or had any right to him and his heirs forever And whereas the said Matthew Blair departed this life having duly made and published his last will and Testament in writing bearing date on or about the twenty first day of december one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight and thereby amongst other things will and devised all his real estate unto his executors their heirs and assigns for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and subject to the disposition therein made and the sd testator constitiuted and appointed the sd Gabriel Wood John Robertson and Robert Fergusson to be executors of his sd will who have taken upon themselves the burthen of the execution thereof all which matters and things in and by the sd Last Will and Testaments duly proved and recorded in the Orphans Court of Charles County reference being thereunto had may more full and at large appear And whereas the debts for the payment and discharge of which the sd Indenture before recited was made by the said William Mackall Wilkinson to the said Matthew Blair have in part been paid and satisfied by the said William Wilkinson now this Indenture witnesseth that as well for the extinguishing of all right and interest which the sd Matthew Blair had or which they the said Gabriel Wood, John Robertson and Robert Fergusson or either of them have or hath in or to all that part of a tract or parcel of Land formerly caller Priors Cleave but now called Priors Cleave resurveyed situate lying and being in Charles County which was devised by William Mackall Wilkinson to the said William Wilkinson or any pt thereof under or by virtue of the said Last Will and testament of the said Matthew Blair or otherwise howsoever and for assuring and confirming to the said William Wilkinson the absolute estate and Interest therein pursuant to the true Intent and meaning of the Last Will and Testament of the sd William Mackall Wilkinson as also for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings Current money by the sd William Wilkinson in hand well and truly pd to the sd Gabriel Wood John Robertson and Robert Fergusson; all that pt of a tract or parcel of Land formerly called Priors Cleave but now called Priors Cleave resurveyed. /s/ Gab Wood, John Robertson; Rob Fergusson; Wit: Jacob Brown, P G Bowing
