      At the request of Robert Covert, the following lease was recorded this May 2, 1726.
      Mar 11, 1725 from Thos Hussy Luckett of CC, Gent, to Robert Coverd of CC, house carpenter, for the yearly rent and for divers other good causes, the lease of all that tract of land called Wadestones Inlargement, containing about 100 acres, lying in Chinquemuxon [Chicamuxen Cr], together with part of a tract of land thereto adjoining called Wadestone, lying in the fork of Goose Bay. This is a 13 year lease, commencing from Jan 1 last past, with a full toleration to cut down and make use of the timber on the before demised 2 parcels of land, for building or any other improvement such as Robert has occasion for. Robert shall not waste or embezzle timber nor convert it to any other use. The yearly rent is 500 of tobacco in cask. Robert is to plant 100 apple trees within 5 years, and is to'keep them well fenced from cattle, and at the end of the lease, to leave a tobacco house 40 foot long & 20 foot wide, in good repair. Oct 4, 1738 from Thomas Hussey Lucket of CC, Gent, to Jeremiah Aderton of CC, son-in-law of the sd Thomas Hussey Lucket, for the love that he has for his sd son Jeremiah Aderton, and for 9 sterling and for divers other causes, Lucket sells to sd Jeremiah Aderton and Anne, his wife, daughter of the sd Thomas Hussey Lucket, a parcel of land, being part of 3 tracts of land lying at Chinquamuxon [Chicamuxen Cr] in CC, the one called Mountagues Mountains, one other, Mountagues Addition, and the other called Aspinals Change, which sd parcels are bounded by a tract of land called Milune, so as to exclude such part of Aspinals Change which has been heretofore sold by sd Lucket to Thos Skinner or any other persons. The land being sold contains about and is now laid out for 206 acres. Signed - Thomas Hussey Lucket. Wit - Robert Hanson*, Bay Smallwood*.       Oct 4, 1738 from Thomas Hussey Lucket of CC, Gent, to Jeremiah Aderton of CC, son-in-law to the said Thomas Hussey Lucket, for the love that Lucket has for Aderton and also the yearly rents hereafter expressed and divers other causes, sd Lucket lease to sd Jeremiah Aderton and Ann, his wife, a parcel of land lying at Portobacco [Cr] in CC, part of a tract of land called Saint Patricks Hill (being the land and plantation whereon the said Thomas Hussey Lucket formerly dwelt), during the term of the natural life of sd Lucket. The yearly rent is 1 ear of Indian corn if demanded. It is mutually agreed that said Lucket shall give possession to sd Jeremiah Aderton of the within mentioned land and premises by Nov 10, 1739.       On the 2nd Tuesday in Nov, George Dent, Gent, Sheriff, brings into Court here the body of James Connell, who was committed into his custody on the 3rd instant by warrant from Robt: Hanson, Gent, a Justice of this Court, as a runaway, travelling without a pass, and also on suspicion of having stolen a Negro man called Jack, belonging to Thomas Hussey Luckett, and a woman servant named Mary Churchwell belonging to William Hagan of CC, the same conveyed out of Maryland and there sold and disposed of, sd Negro and woman servant. Thereupon it is ruled by the Justices here that the sd James Connell enter into recognizance in 60 , with his sureties in 30 each for his appearance here at next Mar Court, to answer the premises, for defect whereof, sd James, present here in Court in his proper person, is committed into the custody of the Sheriff. Afterwards, James, by the Justices of the Court here, from the commitment last afd, is discharged, paying the Court fees.
      Nelm Randall appears here, according to the tenor of his recognizance, taken before Robt: Hanson, Gent, that is to say, himself in 10 together with his Mainpernor, Thos: Hussey Luckett, in 5 , for his appearance here to testify for the Proprietary against James Connell. Therefore he and his Mainpernor afd, from the force of the recognizance afd, are acquit.

      Thomas Hussey Luckett, by his petition to this Court, sets forth that he is in possession of 2 tracts of land in CC called Wadestone and Wadestones Enlargement, adjoining each other, and one other tract of land called Montagues Mountains, the bounds of which are uncertain, and he prays this Court to appoint Commissioners to examine witnesses to prove and perpetuate the bounds of sd lands. Thereupon it is ordered that Commission issue, returnable here.

      I, Jeremiah Aderston of CC, planter, bind myself to Thos Hussey Luckett of CC, in the just sum of 200 sterling, this Dec 2, 1743, to warrant that sd Aderton will execute a deed with a special warranty to Luckett, for a tract of land of 200 acres, being part of St. Patrick's Hill, lying in CC on the west side of the main branch of Portobacco Cr, according to the courses of a deed from Juliana Price to Thos Hussey Luckett dated Dec 23, 1717, and sd Aderton hereby acknowledges the receipt of 200 sterling, being in full consideration for the land, which being entailed, sd Aderton obliges himself to use any means Luckett thinks proper for docking the same, at the cost of sd Luckett except 40 shillings which sd Aderton agrees to pay towards defraying sd charge; and Jeremiah obliges himself that Ann, his wife, will convey her property of sd land to Luckett.       Dec 12, 1750 from Thomas Hussy Luckett of CC, planter, to Jeremiah Aderton & Anne, his wife, for divers good causes and for 200 acres (being part of a tract of land called St Patricks Hill) in CC, of which the entail was cut oft by an Act of Assembly, passed at the City of Annapolis on May 16, 1740 an estate in fee simple invested in sd Luckett on condition that Luckett conveyed to sd Jeremiah Aderton & Ann, his wife, certain lands therein mentioned which will more at large appear by sd Act wherewith Luckett acknowledges himself fully satisfied by being invested with an estate in fee simple in the 200 acres by the act afd, and hereby grants sd Jeremiah Aderton and Anne, his wife, and the heirs of the body of sd Anne, and on default of such issue, to Mary, the daughter of Robert Price (mentioned in the afd Act) forever, a tract of land called Wadestones Enlargement, containing and patented for 100 acres, and also all that part of a parcel of land, being part of a tract called Wade Stone (both lying in Cs), containing 112 acres.
