Robert Middleton md Mary Wheeler daughter of Major John WHEELER. They had Thomas MIDDLETON b 1674 d 1744 md Penelope HATTON, daughter of Wm and Mary ??? HATTON. They had daughter Susannah MIDDLETON who married Ebsworth BAYNE. Ebsworth was son of Walter and Martha HAWKINS BAYNE. Martha was daughter of John and ??? HAWKINS and granddaughter of Henry HAWKINS and Widow Elizabeth WYNN. Walter was son of Capt John BAYNE and Anne HAWKINS (widow GERRARD) or Anne WARREN (Have not figured this one out). Anne Hawkins-Gerrard was supposed to be daughter of Richard HAWKINS but who was HIS father??? Capt John was son of Walter BAYNE and Eleanor unknown. Burkes Peerage states that this Eleanor was the daughter of Thomas Weston. The Maryland Archives absolutely proves that to be untrue. That rumor was started by Burkes Peerage which is loaded with misinformation but a favorite to quote.
