      For Mr. Samuel Hanson, the following lease was recorded this Jan 21, 1724
      Jan 20, 1724 from William Matthews of CC, gent, to Samuel Hanson of CC, for the rents and services,to be performed and for divers other good causes, the 50 year lease of a parcel of land (whereon to build a water mill for the benefit of sd Saml) lying in CC, and being part of a tract,of land called Second Addition, bounded by the side of a hill marked SH, containing 1 acre and 96 perches, with free egress and regress to and from the mill thereon to be erected. The yearly rent, to be paid on the feast of the annunciation of the blessed Virgin Mary, is 1 bushel of Indian corn, if the same be demanded. Samuel agrees not to raise or maintain any stock of hogs on the before demised premises. If Samuel neglects or delays to build a water mill within 2 years, or the same, when built, suffers to go to decay & be unfit for grinding corn & so to continue for the space of 1 year, or any one time, in such case William may reenter the premises and possess them.
