      Caske paid by WM. FITZHUGH of ye aforesaid County doe by these presents sell unto ye said WILLM FITZHUGH his heires forever a tract of land in Stafford County contininge Three or Four hundred acres Descending and comeinge to me JONAH REVETT as Son and heire of my Father JONAH REVETT late of this County the said land being part of a Pattent of Sixteene hundred acres of land granted to JERVAS DODSON the first of February 1650 Ye Patent being bounded Buttinge Easterly upon POTOMACK RIVER Southerly upon ye main Woods and said Three or Four hundred acres of land part thereof being granted by ye said DODSON to ye said REVETT Deced by a Deed bearing date 29th of October 1653 and bounding West upon ye land Pattented by STEPHEN NORMAN South upon ye mouth of MACHODICK RIVER North Easterly upon a small Creek well divides it from ye rest of ye said Sixteene hundred acres wch said Bounds more particularly the divideing line between DODSON & NORMANs Patents & which is now in possession of VINCENT YOUNGE by an able Jury of ye Neighbourhood and Two Surveyors Mr. GEORGE BRENT and Mr. WILLIAM HORTEN berg appointed by the Generall Court who did betwixt that and September following Court In Obedience thereunto lay out ye said land and make report thereof in September Generall Court 1681 which said Survey and Re-port of ye jury and Surveyr was confirmed in said Court and farther expressed in ye Order to bee a finall Intermicmacon of all matters about their said Bounds w oh said Order report-and Survey is further confirmed also by an Order of ye General! Court bearing date ye 28th of November 1682 as pr ye said Patten t Deed Survey and General! Orders relacon being had. In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hande and fixed my Seale

      I ELIZABETH REVETT Wife of ye above named JONAH REVETT doe appoint Mr. WM. BUCKNER to acknowledge my third to ye above menconed Deed. Wittness my hande this 5th day of October 1688.

      aforesaid Planter of other part Wittnessetb that said PHILLIP LAMBATT doth in consideration of Learninge ye Trade of a BOAT WRIGHT wch ye aforesaid HENRY MEREST doth promise to due his utmost endeavours to learn him as farforth as ye said PHILLIP LAMBATT shall be capable & likewise for divers other causes that he will truely att all tymes worke & serve him ye said HENRY MEREST in all service as shall pertain to Boat Wright or any other worke makeinge of Come & helpinge about the Tobacco in tymes of Season as he ye said HENRY MEREST shall think fill dureinge ye full terme of fowre yeares service to be commenced from ye date hereof untill aforesaid terme of fowre years be expired to find for the said PHlLLIP LAMBATT meat drink lodging & clothing during ge ye said Terme and att the expiracon of the said Terme pay unto him ye said PHILLIP LAMBATT one suit of broad cloth and further more I doe cleare him from ye Master as 1 am force to come to it myself, in Wiliness the parties have sett their bands & seales the day & yeare above written
