William Cawood, late of CC, planter, was summoned to answer unto Andrew Scot and Mary, his wife, Executors of the Will of John Abbington, late of Prince Georges County, Gent, decd, of a plea that he render unto them 1408 lbs of good, sound merchantable leaf tobacco in cask, convenient in Prince Georges County or CC to some landing place on the river Potomack, which from them he unjustly detains. And now here, sd Andrew and Mary, by their atty, prays that the sd William to his declaration against them may answer, and the sd Samuel Young, atty of the sd William, says that he is not informed by his client of any answer for the sd William to the sd Andrew and Mary, his wife, Ex'rs afd in the plea afd for him to be given, and nothing other thereof does he say.
