Inventory includes: 7 horses, 14 cattle, 27 sheep, 25 hogs; 1 cart and wheels; desk and bookcase; 3 beds and furniture; 10 barrels corn, 1200 lbs pork, 103a pot iron; cash (4 10 shillings 6 pence); Negro men named: Joe (about age 23), Jucey (23), Salisbury (23); Negro boy Mathew (lame, age 10); Negro girls Chur (16) and Jen (10). Total: 467 8 shillings 8 pence. Signed - THarris, Jezreel Penn.

      I, Thomas Jenkins, for divers good causes, give to Lesley Corry, youngest son of my wife, Mary Jenkins, a Negro girl named Jane, daughter of Nell Hogan. I have put sd Lesley Corry in full possession by virtue hereof, but if he dies without. lawful issue, Negro Jane and her increase is to be returned to me. Signed Dec 18, 1780 - Thomas Jenkins. Wit - Wm Francis Neale, Ann Digges. The deed of gift was executed before John Digges, Recorded Jan 28, 1781.

      Indenture made February 10, 1798; Thomas Jenkins and Mary Jenkins his wife in consideration of 5 shillings current money paid by Henry Hamersley sold all that tract of land lying on the west side of the Wicomico River and called "Gill's Land".       At the request of Nicholas Miles the following Deed was recorded July 1, 1805
      Indenture June 27, 1805; between Thomas Jenkins and Mary Jenkins his wife of the one part and Nicholas Miles of the other part. Whereas the above named Mary Jenkins party to this indenture at the time of her intermarriage with the above Thomas Jenkins was the widow and relict of a certain Benjamin Lesley Corry late of CC deceased and as such was and still is entitled to her right of dower in the following tracts of land;"Tombit", to wit, on February 14, 1775 conveyed by Edward Edelen to Benjamin Lesley Corry the former husband of the aforesaid Mary Jenkins all that tract of land containing 200 acres being part of a tract of land formerly called "George's Rest" and now called "Green's Rest" (the same being part of a greater tract of land called "Content" lying in Boarman's Manor) which was conveyed by deed bearing date June 24, 1769 by William Boarman to John Corry, surgeon and father of the above mentioned Benjamin Lesley Corry, and also all that tract of land called "Boarman's Friends Offer", of all which said above described tracts of land the above mentioned Benjamin Lesley Corry was seized and possessed of in fee simple at the time of his death. Now this indenture witnesseth that Thomas Jenkins and Mary Jenkins in consideration of 150 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Nicholas Miles has sold the aforesaid tracts of land (page 391 totally missing).
