      Feb. 20, 1802 - The Rowan Co., N.C. will of Thomas Swann, probated Feb. 1811, leaves:
      --to dau. Martha, one shilling sterling;
      --to son Zedekiah, one shilling sterling;
      --to son Asa, all my moulding planes;
      --to dau. Ann Chapman, one feather bed and 1 cow;
      --to dau. Esther, one feather bed and furniture and 1 cow;
      --to son Jesse, all my land and premises which I now live on, one horse, one cow, my farming and carpenter tools;
      --to dau. Lida Turner, 1 feather bed and furniture and 1 cow;
      --to wife Joice, the use of my lands & plantation, also the benefit of the stock and tools thereon during her natural life.
      --I further devise my above named daughters Ann Chapman, Esther and Lida Turner shall have the use of my lands and plantation, tools etc. during either of their unmarried life time to the end that neither of them shall be without a house & home, likewise all the unbequeathed estate after the death of my wife Joice shall be equally divided between my 3 daughters Ann Chapman, Esther and Lida Turner and my son Jesse.

Nov 21, 1791 from Thomas Swann Sr of CC, planter, to Matthew Stone of CC, planter, for 60 , part of a tract of land in CC called Eagleton, containing about 87 acres, Signed - Thos Swann Sr. Wit. - Bent Dyson*, Wm D. Briscoe*. Joice Swann, wife of Thomas Swann Sr, relinquished her right of dower. Recorded Nov 22, 1791.

      July 1756 - The Vestrymen and Church Wardens of Trinity Parish, Charles Co., Md., met at their Parish Church and made out the following LIST of Batchelors residing in said Parish and also annexed a true estimate of their several estates: ... Thomas Swann, place of abode - Newport Forrest, estate - 100 [lbs. tobacco?] ....

      1758 - Thomas Swann is in the 1758 Tax List of East Newport Hundred, Charles Co., Md., 1 taxable, no slaves. (next to his brother Jonathan Swann)

      1761 - Thomas Swann is in the 1761 Charles Co., Md. Debt Book, p. 42, with 167 acres of "Eagleton."

      Feb. 5, 1763, Nov. 1764, June 1765, and May 20, 1766 - See the records of these dates under brother James Swann which mention Thomas Swann.

      Dec. 1771 - Thomas Swann witnesses the Charles Co., Md. will of Samuel Love.
