      This Indenture Tripartite made this tenth day of April in the Year Seventeen hundred and sixty seven Between Ralph Marlow of Prince Georges County Planter and Ann his wife of the one part John Marlow of the same County Planter of the second part and John Rogers of the same County of the third part Whereas for the docking barring and extinguishing all Estates Tail and Reversions and Remainders thereupon expectant and depending of and in the Land and Appurtenances herein after mentioned the said John Rogers as Demandant is hereafter at the request cost and charges of the aforesaid John Marlow to prosecute and sue forth out of his Lordships High Court of Chancery his said Lordships writ of Entry sur disseisin en le post against him the said John Marlow returnable and to be returned to the Provincial Court at Annapolis on the third Tuesday of May next whereby the said John Rogers is to demand against him the said John Marlow All that tract or parcell of Land called Wheeler's Hope lying in the county aforesaid and Beginning at a bounded white oak standing in the woods on the north side of a fresh run which runs into Piscataway Creek near a great Beaver Damm Running thence north and by west one hundred and fifty perches to a bounded white Oak standing by a Small branch thence west and by South one hundred and fifty perches to a bounded white oak thence south west and by south one hundred and twenty perches to a bounded red oak upon a Hill thence west one hundred and eighty perches upon a Hill to a bounded white oak thence South South west one hundred and eighty perches to a bounded white oak standing by the said run thence running as the run runneth to the first bound tree containing and laid out for three hundred sixty and five acres of Land with the appurtenances thereto belonging To which said writ the said John Marlow shall and will appear in his proper person or by his attorney or attornies lawfully authorized and vouch to warranty thereof the aforesaid Ralph Marlow and Ann his wife who shall likewise appear gratis in their proper persons or by their attorney or attornies lawfully authorized and shall and will enter into the said warranty and vouch over to warrant the same premisses the common vouchee who shall thereupon appear and enter into the said warranty and after Imparlance make default and such further and other proceedings shall be therein so that one or more good and perfect common recovery or Recoveries with double voucher shall and may be had suffered perfected and executed in all things according to the usual form of common Recoveries with double voucher for Assurance of Lands in such case used and accustomed Now this Indenture Witnesseth that for the setling and declaring the intent use and purpose of the said Recovery or Recoveries so to be suffered as aforesaid and for and in consideration of five Shillings Current Money by him the said John Marlow to the aforesaid Ralph Marlow and Ann his Wife in Hand paid the receipt whereof the said Ralph Marlow and Ann his wife do hereby acknowledge It is covenanted granted agreed and Declared by and between all the parties to these presents That the said Common Recovery or Recoveries so as aforesaid or in any other manner to be had and suffered and the Execution thereof from and immediately after the suffering the same or any other Recovery or Recoveries of the said mentioned premisses or any part thereof shall and is and are hereby intended to be and enure and shall be adjudged construed deemed and taken and is and are and was and were meant and intended and is and hereby are declared to be and enure and the Recoveror and Recoverors in the said Recovery or Recoveries named or to be named and he and they and his and their Heirs shall stand and be seised of the said tract or parcell of Land aforesaid and premisses with the appurtenances and every part and parcell thereof to and for the only proper use and Behoofe of him the said John Marlow his heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed

      On the sixth day of May seventeen hundred and sixty seven came the within named John Marlow Ralph Marlow and Ann his wife and John Rogers before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial court and Severally Acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be their respective Act and Deed and the Land and premisses within mentioned with the appurtenances to be the only Right and Estate of the said John Marlow his heirs and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the same writing At the same time the said Ann being by us examined privately and apart from and out of the hearing of her said Husband declared she freely joined in the common Recovery within mentioned of the Lands and premisses within mentioned and that she did the same voluntarily and without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage by her

      Indenture made April 8, 1769; Ralph Marlow, planter in consideration of the natural love and affection which he hath and beareth unto Samuel Middleton Marlow his son as also for the better maintenance and preferment of him has given by these presents all the lands tenements and hereditaments which he the said Ralph Marlow is now possessed consisting of the following land situated near Piscattaway; part of "Westmoreland" containing 148 acres; "Small Hopes" containing 141 acres; part of "Edlins Curtecy" containing 70 acres; "Addition to Edlins Curtecy" containing 30 acres; part of "Goodwill" containing 23 acres; "Marlow's Chance" containing 100 acres and "Marlow's Lott" containing 20 acres amounting to 532 acres.
