Aug 13, 1777 from Samuel Hawker of M, planter, to Isaac Waters (Warters, Walter) of M, planter, for 65 common circulating money, part of a tract of land called The Second Resurvey on William and John, formerly taken up by William Littlefields, lying in Frederick County, and beginning at the end of the dividing line of Bennony Dawson's part, thence to Saml Hawker's part, containing and now laid out for about 100 acres. Signed - Samuel Hocker. Wit - Edwd Burgess*, Elisha Williams*. Ann Hocker, wife of sd Samuel Hocker, relinquished her right of dower to the within mentioned land. Recorded Aug 13, 1777.
