      On June 9, 1777, Thomas P. Edelen and Charles Fenley signed the bond of John Harris Gibbs, the administrator of Anne Gibbs, late of Prince Georges County.

      Thomas Pannewell Edelen(1739-1810), son of John and Sarah Edelen, was born about 1739, in Prince Georges County. Before 1765 he married his cousin Susannah, born 1741, daughter to Thomas and Mary (Blanford) Edelen.
