      Oct. 1751 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. will of Monica Ford,
      probated Nov. 1751, leaves:
      --to sister Francis [sic; Frances] Wimsatt. Negro girl Rachel and after her decease to Anastatia Greenwell and Monica Greenwell.
      --to dau. Mary Ford, Negro girl Moll.
      --to Philip Greenwell, heifer.
      --Remainder of estate to be divided among brother Ignatius Ford and my 5 sisters: Francis [sic; Frances] Wimsatt, Mary West, Anastatia Ford, Susanna Fenwick, and Jane Greenwell.
      Brother Ignatius Ford and Peter Ford. Jr., executors.
      Witnesses: John Cole, Philip Greenwell. William Williams.

      Comment: This record show that Henry Wimsatt had m. his 2nd wife Frances by Oct. 1751. Henry being a widower when he m. Frances, it may be that Frances was also a widow.
      In any event. it appears that after Henry Wimsatt died.
      Frances remarried William Williams (one of the witnesses to Monica Ford's will.) William Williams wrote his St. Mary's Co. will in Nov. 1775 naming wife Frances (will probated Mar. 1776.) Maryland Calendar of Wills. Vol. 16, p. 117.

      1753-1758 - The St. Mary's Co . Md. Debt Books of 1753-1758
      show that in each of these years Henry Wimsatt owned:
      --"Herbert's Grief," 44 acres;
      --part of "Nun's Oak." 20 acres.

      Comment: In 1758. Henry's 44 acres is called "part of Herbert's Grief." "Herbert's Grief," containing 147 acres in St. Mary's Co . Md. consisting of 2 parcels of vacant land adjoining "Schoks Park," was surveyed for and patented to Mark Herbert in, respectively, June 1736 and Aug. 1737.
      "Nunns Oak." a 300 acre tract in New Town Hundred of St. Mary's Co., Md., was surveyed July 1647 for John Nunn in Brittain's Bay. Re "Herbert's Grief" and "Nun's Oak." see the Feb. 1738/9 record above.
