      To son John Askin land bequeathed to my wife Eliza. Askin. provided my son ever returns home in person during his life. If he does not return then land Is to fall to my dau. Sarah Askin. If my son John Askin returns, then I give my manor plantation lying by Edward Darnalls In Zachiah Manor to my dau. Sarah Askin but If my son John never returns then the manor plantation to my dau. Eliza. Askin.

      Jun 13, 1722 from Robert Middleton of CC, to Alex Magruder of Prince Georges County, for 36 sterling, 180 acres of land [which, on] Nov 28, 1717 [was] then laid out at the request of Jno More, executor of the will of John Smith, late decd, of CC, a piece of land for Robt Middelton and Eliza, his wife, pursuant to the sd decd's will, being part of a tract of land in CC called Jordan, which part is bounded by the west side of Zachia Swamp on the north line of the sd John More's land, thence to James Middleton's land being part of the afd tract called Jordan, containing about 180 acres. "This land is part of that 300 acres of land laid out and conveyed by Mr. Robert Hanson by the request of the afd John More, exr of the will of John Smith deceased of CC by the sd 300 acres of land left to the abovesd Robt Middleton's wife Eliza by the sd will".       At the request of Jno Vinson of CC, the following deed was recorded this Mar 5, 1725.
      Oct 10, 1725 from John Pidgeon (Pidgen) of CC, planter, to John Vinson of CC, planter, and Elizabeth Vinson, his wife, the lease of part of that parcel of land that I,bought of Jno Moor. Sd Jno Vinson is to have that part that lies on the east side of a small branch that runs by'sd Pidgeon's dwelling plantation, until it intersects John Moore's lane. John Vinson shall have free liberty to cut down any timber or timber trees for the use of the land (viz) for building, fencing, or tobacco hogsheads, during the natural life of sd John Pidgeon. The yearly rent is 500 lbs of tobacco in cask, to be paid after this ensuing year. John Vinson is to plant 50 apple trees and keep them fenced and in good repair.. Signed - John (+ his mark) Pidgeon.       the following deed was recorded this Apr 16, 1729.
      Apr 7 1729 from Robert Middleton of CC, Gent, and Elizabt his wife, daughter and heiress to the land and premises hereafter mentioned, of John Smith, late of CC, by his will may more at large appear, to John Ebernethy of CC, innkeeper, for 8000 lbs of tobacco in cask, all that tract of land, messuage, or tenement whereon I now dwell, being part of a larger tract of land granted by will to the sd Elizabeth Middleton by the afd John Smith, containing 300 acres called Jordan, bounded by John Moors land, Zachiah Swamp, containing 300 acres. Sometime heretofore, sd Robert Middleton and Elizabeth, his wife, conveyed to Alexander Magruder of Prince Georges County, Gent, 180 acres out of the afd 300 acres called Jordan. Consequently, there remains unsold about 120 acres of sd tract. Now this deed witnesses that sd Robert Middleton and Elizabeth, his wife, for the afd sum of 8000 lbs of tobacco, have sold to John Ebernethy, sd parcel of about 120 acres called Jordan, now in the actual possession and occupation of sd Robert Middleton, lying on Zachiah Swamp adjoining John Mores land, contiguous to that part of the same heretofore sold by the parties to this deed to Alexander Magruder afd, being in CC.. If sd Robert Middleton and Elizabeth, his wife, do not pay the original sum of 8000 lbs of tobacco with legal interest and other costs and charges in the space of 3 years, to be computed from Mar 1 last past to Mar 1, 1731/2, then in default of such payment, Robert and Elizabeth shall turn out of possession and confess judgement & condenacon of sd land and give an immediate or actual possession of the land and premises, forever barring themselves of the equity of redemption to the sd plantation and premises, without any let, molestation, cost, charges, trouble in the law or otherwise of him, the sd John Ebernethy, by_Robert and Elizabeth or any other persons, provided that if Robert Middleton or Elizabeth, his wife, pay sd John Ebernethy the 8000 lbs of tobacco in cask, being the consideration of sd recited deed, with all costs, charges, and lawful interest thereof, then these presents to be void. I, Edward Darnall of CC, planter, have sold, in open market, to John Moore of CC, planter, 20 barrels of Indian corn and my crop of tobacco, which is supposed to be about 800 lbs of tobacco, 2 cows & 2 calves marked in the right year (ear] with a crop and a hole and a nick in the left year & a crop & a nick and 4 hogs marked with the same mark, and 9 Samal(?) pigs and fodder cobard [cupboard], 1 table and draw (drawer], 2 old chests, 1 old spinning wheel & 2 old bedticks, 1 wedge, and 1 old frying pan & 1 old bed that is very sorry, for and in consideration of 8 f 8 shillings sterling, paid for sd Edward Darnall to his brother, Thomas Darnall, & 3 lbs 15 sterling paid for the sd Edward Darnell to Mr. Young Parran & 38 shillings paid for sd Edward Darnall to John Askin. Jun 9, 1756 from John Moore and Precilley, his wife, of CC, to Samuel Hanson of CC, for 24,000 lbs of crop tobacco, all that part of a tract of land in CC called Jordan, containing 281 acres, being the rest of the sd tract unsold by sd John Moore and Pricilla, his wife, to any person heretofore, the 281 acres being part of 400 acres heretofore given by John Smith to sd John Moore and Priscilla Moore. Oct 14, 1766 from Matthew Moore, Thomas Bowling Speake, and John Moreland Jr of CC, planters, to Thomas Wedding of CC, planter, for 55 , 72 acres, being part of a tract of land leased by the Lord Proprietary of Maryland on Dec 5, 1746 to John Andrew Camburn during the lives of John Smith Moore, James Moore, Hezekiah Moore, sons of John Moore & Priscilla Moore. The land is on Zachiah Manor, & called part of Baggotts Boot, containing 155 acres, as by reference to sd lease, executed by Thomas Bladen, Esq, then Governor of Maryland, & Benjamin Tasker, Esq, then agent of sd Lord Proprietary, may appear. The lease was assigned by John Andrew Camburn on Apr 23, 1747, to John Moore, and by sd Moore, on Jul 26, 1759, to Matthew Moore, and by sd Moore, on Dec 21, 1759, to sd Thomas Bowling Speake and John Moreland Jr, as by the several endorsements on the original lease appears. in consequence, sd Moore, Speake, and Moreland make over to sd Wedding, 72 acres, part of the sd land called part of Baggotts Boot.
