      12. Cuthbert3 Harrison (Thomas2 , Burr1 ) was born Bet. 1710 - 1715 in VA, and died 1768 in Prince William County, Virginia. He married Frances Barnes 19 Nov 1738 in Prince William County, Virginia, daughter of Matthew Barnes and Frances Osborne. She was born Abt. 1718 in Charles County, Maryland, and died Aft. 1745 in VA.
      Notes for Cuthbert Harrison:
      One report indicates that Cuthbert Harrison may have also married Miss Randolph before 20 Oct 1750, which would mean some of these children were possibly not Frances Barnes'.

      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty eighth day of Aprill in the nineteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Second and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty six between CUTHBERT HARRISON of the Parish of Dettingin in the County of Prince William INNHOLDER of one part and ANDREW BEARD of the Parish of Hamilton in the County of Prince William Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said CUTHBERT HARRISON for the Rents and Agreements herein after mentioned expressed the said CUTHBERT HARRISON doth for himself his heirs by these presents hereby grant set and to farm let unto the said ANDREW BEARD his heirs or assigns all that parcel of land which the aforesaid CUTHBERT HARRISON purchased of CHRISTOPHER HOLMES lying on LUCKEY RUN in the Parish of Dittingin and County of Prince William aforesaid containing One hundred and thirteen acres of land together with all houses and appurtenances whatsoever belonging (an mines and mine oar only excepted and foreprized) for and during the term of ninety nine years next ensueing the date of these presents to begin from the Twenty day of November now next following & fully to be compleated paying therefore yearly and every year next after the first year the yearly reserved rent of five hundred and thirty pounds of Tobacco according to Law on the Tenth day of November in every year and aforesaid CUTHBERT HARRISON doth agree for himself to and with the said ANDREW BEARD his heirs and assigns to pay a Carpenter for building a Dwelling House and finishing the Tobacco that is now on the said premises and said ANDREW BEARD for himself agree to plant an Orchard of one hundred and fifty Apple trees on the said premises within four years next after the date of these presents and the same to keep in good order within a good fence and it is further agreed said yearly rent should happen to be behind and unpaid on the Tenth day of November every year that then it may be lawful for the said CUTHBERT HARRISON or his A uorney lawfully authorized to enter into the said premises and destrain for the said yearly rent or any part and the distress then & there to take and carry away to satifie the said yearly rent and Lastly for the due performance of all and singular the clauses and agreements herein before mentioned and which ought to be kept on the parts of each of the parties the said CUTHBERT HARRISON & ANDREW BEARD aforesaid doth bind themselves & their heirs and assigns each to the other in the sum of Ten thousand pounds of Tobacco to be paid by the delinquent to the other.       HIS INDENTURE made the 20th and twenty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fifty Between JOHN RANDOLPH of the County of Prince William Planter & ANNE his Wife one of the Daughters & Coheirs of THOMAS OSBORNE late of the sd County Gent, deced of one part and CUTHBERT HARRISON of the same County Gent, of the other part Witnesseth that JOHN RANDOLPH and ANNE his Wife have sold unto said CUTHBERT HARRISON (in his actual possession by virtue of a Lease for one year & by force of the statute for transferring uses into possession) & to his heirs & assigns all the right which the said JOHN RANDOLPH & ANNE his Wife in the right of the said ANNE have to all the tract of land whereon said CUTHBERT HARRISON now liveth in the said County of Prince William formerly belonging to the said THOMAS OSBORNE which by the death of said THOMAS OSBORNE came upon the Daughters & Coheirs of the said THOMAS OSBORNE subject to the dower of the said THOMAS OSBORNEs Widow who hath since intermarried with & is now the Wife of the said CUTHBERT HARRISON and also of & to all the Slaves goods Chattles & personal Estate whatsoever of the said THOMAS OSBORNE which said JOHN RANDOLPH & ANNE his Wife in right of the said ANNE may claim after the decease of sd THOMAS OSBORNEs Widow & which said CUTHBERT HARRISON now holdeth for her Dover in the lands and Slaves of said THOMAS OSBORNE or which said JOHN RANDOLPH & ANNE his Wife can claim To Have and To Hold all the lands tenements slaves goods & chattles therein intended to be granted unto the said CUTHBERT HARRISON his heirs and assigns except only so much of the personal Estate of the said THOMAS OSBORNE as the said JOHN RANDOLPH & ANNE his Wife in right of the said ANNE are in the actual possession of at the time of the Execution of these presents It being the true intent hereof that the said JOHN RANDOLPH & ANNE his Wife should convey unto CUTHBERT HARRISON & his heirs all of the reall & persona! HENDLEY and MARY his Wife in the right of the said MARY hath to all that Plantation & tract of land whereon the said CUTHBERT HARRISON now liveth in the said County of Prince Wm. formerly belonging to the said THOMAS OSBORNE & all the lands & hereditaments whatsoever formerly belonging to THOMAS OSBORNE in the County of Prince William or else where which by the death of the said THOMAS OSBORNE descended upon the Daughers & heirs of the said THOMAS OSBORNE subject to the dower of said THOMAS OSBORNEs Widow who hath since intermarried with & now is the Wife of CUTHBERT HARRISON and also to all the slaves goods chattles personal estate whatsoever of the said THOMAS OSBORNE which the said WM. HENDLEY and MARY his Wife in the right of the said MARY may claim & demand as one of the Sisters and Coheirs of said THOMAS OSBORNE who is since dead To Have and To Hold all the lands and chattles unto the said CUTHBERT HARRISON his heirs and assigns it being the meaning hereof that WM. HENLEY & MARY his Wife should convey all of the real & personal Estate whatsoever of the said THOMAS OSBORNE which either of them in right of the said MARY may be entituled as One of the Coheirs of the said THOMAS OSBORNE her Father or PRUDENCE her Sister (except such part of his personal Estate & slaves as hath been delivered to the said WM.
