3 Mar 1713; Indenture from John Spalding of St. Mary's County, planter, to Thomas Green, planter of St. Mary's County, one of the sons of Leonard Greene, dec'd; Leonard Greene and his brothers, Robert and Francis Greene were formerly granted a tract called GREEN'S INHERITANCE; bounded according to the patent; Leonard Green by his will devised to his children, Winefred, Mary, Thomas and Margaret Greene; mentions William Hutchison; mentions surviving brothers Robert and Francis; mentions Lot # 1 and Lot # 2 of 200 acres; now this indenture for £25 and 5,000# tobacco for Lot #2; /s/ Thos. Greene; wit. Wm. Coode, Wm. Aisquith; ack. by Thomas Greene and his wife Mildred; certify Wm. Aisquith and Samuel Williamson as justices of St. Mary's Co.

deed was recorded on Jun 22, 1747.
May 10, 1747 from Thomas Coombes of CC, planter, & Elizabeth, his wife, to Wm Coombes of CC, planter, for 10,000 lbs tobacco, all that part of a tract of land called Greens Inheritance, lying in CC on the north side of Portobacco main branch, it being part of a tract of land bequeathed to Mary Green, daughter of Leonard Green, and bounded by land now belonging to Basel Spalding, Anquish Maccoy, containing about 146 acres. Signed - Thomas Coombes. Wit - William Middleton, Robt Yates. Elizabeth, the wife of Thomas Coombes, released her dower.
