      Mordecai Jacob in consideration of the natural love and affection I do bear unto my sister Sarah Isaac, wife of Richard Isaac, Jr. and other good and weak in considerations me hereunto moving have given by these presents all that tract lately belonging to my father Benjamin Jacob called "Jacob's Hope" containing 100 acres on the North branch of Patuxent River between where Thomas Turner and William Ducker now lives. Signed Mordecai Jacob in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Williams, Robert Tyler and at the same time Jemima Jacob wife of Mordecai Jacob relinquished her right of dower

      Indenture made this September 11, 1787; between Nicholas Blacklock, Esq., sheriff of PGCo of one part and Gabriel Duvall, attorney of the City of Annapolis of the other part. Whereas Benjamin Mackall of Calvert County, Maryland to satisfy a judgement recovered in the General Court of the Western Shore against Jemima Jacob, Benjamin Jacob and Mordecai Jacob, executors of the last will and testament of Mordecai Jacob, late of PGCo, deceased for 1000 pounds sterling to be released on payment of 464 pounds 11 shillings and a penny sterling with legal interest from December 15, 1775 and costs did sue forth a writ of Venditione Exponas directed to Nicholas Blacklock, sheriff, and by virtue of the writ did sell a publick vendue on July 18th last a tract in PGCo called "Hollydays Choice" containing by estimation 500 acres and Gabriel Duvall became the purchaser for the sum and price of 3 pounds 10 shillings current money per acre. Now this indenture witnesseth that Nicholas Blacklock in consideration of the premises and 1750 pounds current money has sold the aforesaid tract "Hollydays Choice" except the crop on hand put in the ground by Benjamin Jacob and Mordecai Jacob that was growing on July 18th.
