      61-62. Jeremiah Beall and Sabinah, his wife [and others] recorded 14 Feb. 1769, made 5 January between James Austin of FC. Between Jeremiah Beall and Sabinah his wife, Thomas Edmonston and Mary his wife, and Martha Beall all ofFrederick County. Witness that the parties Aforesaid being invested in a 1/4 part of a tract called King Cole, said part containing 492 acres, which is now divided into 2 equal parts, and that said Jeremiah Beall and Subinah his wife, Thomas Edmonston and Mary his wife, and Martha Beall shall hold and enjoy, as their 8th part, Metes & bounds given, for 246 1/4 acres. Agreement signed James Austin, Jeremiah Beall, Sabina Beall, Thos Edmonston, Mary Edmonston, Martha Beall. Wit: Andrew Heugh, Charles Jones wit. James Austin; Andrew Heugh, Robert Lazenby by Martha Beall. Andrew Heugh, Rebeckah Benfield, by Thomas & Mary Edmonston. On back ofwhich deed is endorsement to wit: Mr. Bowles, charge Jeremiah Beall son of James with 1/2 of the expense of recording this deed and the other half to me, and when deed is recorded let James Austin have it. I am, your servant, Andrew Heugh, 28 January 1769.
