      25 Nov 1657 (Lancaster) VA. William WHITE and wife Anne sell 150 acres to William THATCHER. Wit: Samuel GOOCH, Thomas ROOTES. Anne gave her power of attorney to "loving brother Will. WRAUGHTEN" to acknowledge her signature. Thomas ROOTES and Anne HEARNE witnessed the power of attorney. Bk. 2, pg. 199.

      1 Apr 1658 (Lancaster) VA. Will of Margaret GRIMES, "long afflicted and under the hand of the Almighty", widow, recorded. Dated 18 Feb 1658. Son, William RAUGHTON, cattle and furniture.
