(deced), It is ordered by this Court that Mr. EDWARD CARTER and Mr. THOMAS CHOWNING, Overseers to the Last Will and Testament of the saide WHITE, doe forthwth: repaire to the House of the saide deceased then and there to take anInventory of the whole Estate belonginge to the saide WHITE, and to exhibite the same to the nexte Court helde for this County, It is further ordered that what clothes and necessaries the saide CARTER and CHOWNING shall finde needefully wanting for the Children, the same to give out to them.

25 Nov 1657 (Lancaster) VA. William WHITE and wife Anne sell 150 acres to William THATCHER. Wit: Samuel GOOCH, Thomas ROOTES. Anne gave her power of attorney to "loving brother Will. WRAUGHTEN" to acknowledge her signature. Thomas ROOTES and Anne HEARNE witnessed the power of attorney. Bk. 2, pg. 199.
