      In the name of God, Amen. I Michael Ashford of the County of Fairfax and State of Virginia, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form hereafter, that is to say, I give my land and lands that I have not heretofore given to any of my children, or to any other person whatsoever by deed or otherwise, to my son Francis Ashford. I give this to him in consequence of the care he has taken of me in my old age and the respect and duty he has always shewn to me. In testimony whereof I have set my hand this [blank] day of May one thousand seven hundred and ninety-three.

      Individual Note: it is thought by preponderance of evidence that Hugh Conn Jr's 1st wife was Eleanor WILCOXEN. Eleanor's brother, Josias Wilcoxen, gave deposition for Hugh & Eleanor's son-in-law Michael Ashford. Eleanor d.abt Jul 1754 because Hugh Jr had m.2d and had son b.1755 according to the son's Rev. War pension.

      Will of Ann Ashford, dated 25 Nov 1734.
      Anne Ashford of Prince William County, Virginia, being sick and weak in body.
      Unto my daughter Ann a young negro boy named Sam
      Unto my daughter Mary and Constance a negro boy named Peter and the woman servant named Mary for the time she has to serve
      All the pewter belonging to the house to be equally divided amongst all my children as well sons as daughters.
      All hoggs belonging to me to be equally divided amongst all my children
      All my sheep belonging to me to be equally divided amongst all my children
      To my daughter Mary a horse named Champion,
      To my daughter Constance a horse named Shaver.
      All the remainder of my cattle not before bequeathed by my husband to be equally divided amongst all my children.
      Unto my son John one oval table.
      To my sone Michael square table of oak
      A piese of Holland to be equally divided amongst my daughters
      I do constitute ordain' and appoint sone John my sole executor.
      All the tobacco that remains clear to the estate when all the debts are paid due from the estate to be equally divided amongst all my children.
