      DURRETT, RICHARD, Spotsylvania County, d. July 28, 1767, Executors Bond dated July 4, 1768. Wit. Benjamin Tompkins, John Summers. Ex. wife, Sarah; son William; William Marshall; John Lewis. Leg. wife Sarah; lands in Spotsylvania and Caroline Cos. to be divided between all my boys which I now have, or shall have. Any estate that shall fall to me by the death of Elizabeth Marshall, or any other person, to be equally divided amongst all my children. My daughter and younger children to be supported until they shall marry and come to lawful age. (Page 328)

      To Robert Duncanson, Merch. of Fredericksburg Consideration: 80 lbs. current money. Conveys 400 acres in County of Louisa, Parish of Fredericksville, as contained in Patent dated February 1, 1738, granted unto John Dowell & from him by several means and conveyances and described in said Patent as follows: BEGINNING at William Cradock's red oak white oak and pine running thence N. 50 deg. E. 86 poles to two pine saplins thence N. 220 poles to Several Oak bushes, thence W. 96 poles to a maple in a small branch, thence S. 50 deg. W. 204 poles to pine saplin in a valley, thence S. 15 deg. E. 252 poles to two pines in Cradock's line, thence along same N. 50 deg. E. 150 poles to beginning.
