According to Charles Brashear, the Katherine Brent married to Richard Marsham and the subject of these messages is NOT the daughter of Giles Brent and Mary Kittamaquond but in records is stated to have "been in service" in England before her marriage to Richard. Therefore, she was born in England and came as a young woman to the colonies where she married Richard Marsham. The whole "Giles Brent" connection seems to have been a fabrication of someone who entered it into the LDS database. Another reason to be wary of that format. Thanks for all the input into this query.
